We are currently at the Secrets in Huatulco. We’ve been to a half dozen Dreams/Secrets resorts as UVC members. The view here is the best. Absolutely amazing from our room. The swimming pools were large and had plenty of room and we spent a ton of time hanging out in the pools. The beach was nice and pretty clear. We like to snorkel and it was decent off to the left side by the rocks. It was nice to have the resort on a cove although the water could still be somewhat rough at times, but never where it was too rough or dangerous. The food was decent. We didn’t like our dinner at Oceana. The Japanese restaurant was great, but don’t get the gyro. The Italian restaurant was amazing and one of the best meals of all AMR resorts meals we’ve had. The food was amazing from the salad bar to the appetizers and entrees. We even asked to compliment the chef Celestino as he made an amazing meal. The night before we ate at Oceana and had Mahi Mahi, which we love and it was not good at all. The Italian restaurant also offered Mahi Mahi and we asked if it was good and our server said it was very good. So I got it and he was right it was amazing. So was the salmon, pizza pasta and everything. Our server, Guillermo, was one of the best servers we’ve ever had in any restaurant. He was personable, great with recommendations and always kept our water and drinks (Fresca) full. He constantly made sure we had everything we needed. It was an amazing meal and we will definitely eat there again before we leave. Gisela, the manager was also very nice and attentive and made sure everything was great. As all Secrets resort this was really nice overall. Similar to to Secrets in Puerto Vallarta. Our two favorite resorts we’ve been to were Dream Las Mujeres and Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana. But we are glad we came.

Good ambience... beautiful hotel and wonderful service in general Good life music everyday and dance shows. International restaurants nice ambiance and delicious recipes and best service. The most greatful gastronomic experience was at restaurant Bordeaux ! delicious typical French cuisine and the best service received from Adrian Luengas !

Felt a little pressured to go for World of Hyatt program presentation Very uncomfortable experience.

Overall, it was ok. We are UVC members and did not feel like it unless we spoke to a UVC rep to get things done. We have stayed at Secrets Punta Mita and that set the bar high for all hotels thereafter. This location is great, but the customer service needs to improve. Preferred club is very small, definitley needs to upgrade. There no preferred areas at all through the resort. No beach, pool side bar or areas. The beds are hard as a rock. Normally Secrets has a straw beach bag in the room for UVC members. Not this location, not even the snacks were provided. No champagne greet at check in. Regina our UVC rep was great. See William at Castaway! He is the true meaning of excellent service! He'll get it done!

We always choose Secrets resort. Very clean, service is fast, variety of food/alcohol. I don't have even one word to complain about the resort. Do not hesitate to choose Secrets Resort.
