    Good value on the strip

Overall a good value. The royal tower is much nicer. I would not recommend the resort tower as it is very outdated and the rooms have seen better days. Join the MLife rewards program and use it when booking your room. I have received so many great room offers after doing this once. There are better places to gamble with a larger variety of games than Excalibur. If you are good with blackjack and three card poker then you will be fine. Food and beverages are overpriced, but that is the case most everywhere on the strip. The location is great. It is within walking distance to many other resorts on the south end. There are also bus stops and a monorail stop nearby to get further north on the strip. Check in lines are usually long. I have spent over an hour waiting in that line. I have tried using their mobile check in 3 times and it never works for me.

I stayed here for a total of 10 nights - when staying, don't forget resort fees are added when you stay... so for us, an extra $396! Check in is easy, it's sign posted well and only takes a few minutes. They take a deposit on your credit card too. The staff are all very friendly, we booked a regular room but they were fully booked so we were upgraded to the resort tower for free. The room itself was clean, it had two double beds which were comfy (we slept in both). The bathroom was clean too although pretty dated. They always supplied new shampoo etc in the morning which was great. Cleaners were super nice. We were on the 23rd floor so didn't have casino noise but I was woken up a few times by helicopter tours. The fan cools the room down but is so loud... you can't sleep with it on so therefore you can get too warm!! There is an ice dispenser on each floor too which is helpful. There is a food court you can get food in or get coffee in, I recommend the Krispy Kreme for coffee but all the food places weren't great. Just eat somewhere outside of the hotel, I didnt try the buffet but spoke to some that did and said it was awful. Overall, I had a great stay. The room was fine since it had everything I needed but I only really spent time here to sleep but I wouldn't like to spent any amount of time here. The location is great too since it connects to New York New York via a bridge. There is also a tram that connects to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay that runs every few minutes. If you're coming here via an airport, use Uber instead of a shuttle or taxi - the shuttle is $11 per person but Uber is between $12-$15 and doesn't make you wait until there is a full shuttle bus!!

Comfortable fun on the Las Vegas strip does not have to cost a fortune. We just got back from another stay at the Excalibur resort on the Las Vegas strip. The staff was always courteous, helpful and professional. The comfortable room was always well cleaned and stocked with towels. The slots are a nice mix of old and brand new. Love the new 'We want our cows back' feature in the Invaders from Planet Moolah slot. The location is hard to beat, with 7 casinos within a short walk or free tram ride away.

    A Good Stay At Vegas

Ok. On arrival I got very disorientated after my airport shuttle dropped me off at this hotel. Eventually I found the hotel lobby and was promptly served as there were more than enough staff available to check in the waiting queue of people. What I found intriguing was why I had to pay approximately another $150 of 'city tax' when I booked my room for 4 nights for approximately £250 assuming that will be a good deal. I just find that slightly as false advertising as at a previous hotel I stayed in whilst in the United States this was not the case. Whichever way I did not want to argue about it as I was quite tired and was meeting some friends at this hotel as we were a big group of people going to a wedding in the city. Far as the hotel went I did have an enjoyable time. It had a very lively casino and a lot of locations to get food and drink too. Also the staff working in the hotel were generally very helpful to my needs when it came to giving me tips on what to do in the city. The wifi was slightly inconsistent at this hotel in some spots but otherwise I did really enjoy my 4 night stay at this hotel. I did find the checking out system a bit confusing though but luckily it was easy to work out when I found that it had to be done through a computer rather than by a member of staff. Also the luggage room staff were also very efficient in their job too and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We came to LV in September to go catch a concert and were looking for something affordable but decent and close to all the action. Its no Aria/Cosmo but if you just need a place to crash that is a few steps up from a motel 6 and is close to the action, I highly recommend this place. We stayed at Luxor last time and while that is also a great choice, the sloping windows due to the pyramid shape make the rooms feel a bit smaller. Excalibur is a solid choice if you want to save some money!
