This was an amazing resort. We loved our stay and want to come back every year. We researched many resorts before choosing this one and we were so happy with our decision. This resort is unlike any other. The design and attention to detail was impeccable. The food was delicious and there were so many options! One of the best part was the staff. They treat you like family immediately and like royalty. I couldn’t have wished for a better trip and have ZERO complaints. We spent our honeymoon here and I highly suggest this resort. Ask for RG or Black Dolphin at the pool!!

We had a fabulous 4 nights at Sanctuary Cap Cana. Our butler Joan was by far the best butler that we’ve had. He was kind, attentive and eager to help in anyway that he can. This was our 10th time to the Dominican and the service at this resort was by far the best we’ve ever had. Special mention to a few of them, as mentioned earlier Joan our butler , Geanette and Elvis at the Italian restaurant, Omar at the steak restaurant and Arianny at the beach. They were all extremely attentive, friendly and they clearly love their jobs. ??

Had a great visit, relaxing, great food and service. Thank you, Omar, waiter from the Steakhouse, for being so friendly, welcoming, and providing great service. The hotel staff in general was always friendly and accommodating. We also appreciate the plenty of chairs available at the pools and beach. Definitely recommend it.

We’ve been to Cap Cana now for 3 years in a row with a small group. For the 2 years prior we had stayed at the Hyatt just down the beach. This year we read some of the glowing reviews of Sanctuary and decided to give it a try. Let me start by saying the hotel is absolutely beautiful. If I was judging between the 2 based on aesthetics and rooms alone, Sanctuary would be the easy winner. Service was stellar. But, the food situation is truly subpar. From limited options with even more limited availability. Def book reservations well in advance of your arrival or you’ll find yourself eating at either 9pm or in Sanctuary Town. The pools are lovely and chairs are plentiful. There was never a reason to rush down and reserve one ahead of time. Just be aware that the pools at Sanctuary are quite quiet. No real music or activities. Great for reading and truly relaxing. But, def not the kind of place where you’d want to go for an upbeat vibe. Would I return? Maybe… but, I think we’d pick the Hyatt for next year with better food and more to do on the resort.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my sister in law’s birthday at Sanctuary Cap Cana. The resort was stunning and our butler Miguel made it a five star experience for us. We stayed in the Monarch Villa right on the water and the views were amazing. During our stay, Miguel made sure we were informed of the daily activities at the resort and took care of all our reservations. On my sister in law’s birthday, Miguel made it so special by providing a delicious cake, balloons, champagne and HBD rose petals set up in her room. I stayed super active during my stay and went through a lot of water so Miguel had a case of water delivered to my room. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. Miguel was super responsive and dependable during or entire stay. My husband and I will be back and I will request Miguel??
