We had our destination wedding at Dreams Huatulco on April 20th, 2024, and we honestly could not have chosen a more amazing place. Months before the wedding, our on-site wedding coordinator Guadalupe reached out to us via email. Planning a wedding from thousands of miles away is not the most relaxing thing in the world, but from the beginning Guadalupe made it seamless. She answered any and all questions I had, helped us through the process, and truly made the process so much easier. When we arrived at Dreams Huatulco, we were met with such kindness and hospitality from everyone there, employees and guests alike. As a lesbian couple, we were a bit worried how we would be received, but from the moment we arrived it truly felt like a home away from home. We met with Guadalupe the second day we were there, and she patiently went through every single detail with us, down to the way our small wedding of 16 would be seated during the ceremony, to the flowers, to even which tables would match with our decor. She exuded so much warmth and kindness, and the warmth of the light that shone through her was not only felt by me and my wife, but also by each of our guests that she interacted with. By the time the wedding day itself came, she literally made the day SO stress free - to the point that I, after realizing I left all of my bobby-pins at home, texted her in a panic asking if there was anywhere we could get bobby-pins in the area, and she said, “I’m on it!” and delivered an entire handful of bobby-pins, big, small, open-ended and closed, to the room that I was getting ready in. Out of everything Guadalupe did for us, the bobby-pin debacle was the most stressful part of my wedding day. Walking down the aisle to my wife, I was in awe of the work Guadalupe put into making our day as special as she could. She incorporated everything we asked her to and then some. Everything from the ceremony to reception was handled, and neither me or my wife had to worry about anything because Guadalupe was there during the entire night, ensuring that everything went as planned. I don’t know what they’re paying Guadalupe, but I’ll tell you this: it’s not enough. I’m so thankful that she was apart of our wedding memories, and truly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator. We spent 8 days at Dreams Huatulco, and had the time of our lives. I’m so grateful to not only Guadalupe but also the rest of the staff that made our time there so amazing - we’ll see you again April 2025!

The staff were very friendly and attended to everything we needed quickly. From the moment we arrived Leticia made sure to help us with whatever we needed ensuring the best experience. We loved the food and our little one really enjoyed her time in the kids club. Our room had great view of the beach which was so beautiful. Everything was very clean as well.

Just got back from a week vacation at Dreams. The staff at this hotel are so hardworking and made this vacation absolutely unforgettable. I will definitely be returning.

Dreams is a beautiful relaxing resort over looking Tangolunda Bay. The water is a bit rough so out of 7 days, we could only venture into the water on 3 days. The staff are hard working, attentive and very friendly. After 7 days I feel calm, relaxed and reenergized! Thank you. I would highly recommend Portofino and seaside grill for dinner, they are by far the best meals we had at the a la carte during the whole week. Room service is a great bonus! After a long day relaxing in the sun, a few nights I'd fill up the balcony jacuzzi and order dinner up to the room. It was delicious and only 1 hour for delivery. The staff at the buffet are very hard working! I loved the staff at the beach and pools delivering the yummiest frozen drinks. Remember to bring USD for tipping! It's so disappointing to see the majority of people leaving nothing after you have the staff running around for you after every drink or meal. And lastly, the entertainment staff were great, there is so many activites offered. The only issues I saw had nothing to do with the resort itself, it was some of the guest were absolute pigs!!! One guy in the restaurant was coughing, sneezing throughout the whole meal then he actually SPIT ON THE FLOOR inside the restaurant right next to other dinners. Disgusting! Another guest took his baby poop filled diaper off and washed the poop off in the shower next to the pool. Other than a few disgusting guests it a great resort.
