Please note the following renovation schedule for Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta for 2024 and 2025:
April 15 - September 14, 2024: New Asian restaurant, Tequila Bar will be closed and in its place, Tamari will be created. Located in the central building, construction will not impact guests as working hours will be only at night. Asian cuisine will still be served at Pureza during this time.
May 06, 2024 – January 06, 2025: North Tower room upgrades will be taking place. Some dust and noise are to be expected from 10AM-6PM. This is the second phase of renovation for the north wing main tower.
June 03-September 10, 2024: The Pool Bar at the main pool will be upgraded and some dust and noise should be expected during the day. A provisional portable bar will be set in the pool area and 4 other pools will be open.
July 01 – October 16, 2024: Kid’s Club will be closed. Guests will not be affected. All kids’ activities will take place outside by the pool and terrace at Melanzanne.
July 01-November 11,2024: Front Desk and lobby area will be renovated; the work will be done at night. There will be a temporary check-in desk located in the front lobby during this time.
August 05- Nov 29, 2024: Repair roof structure of walkways. Please note there are two walkways to connect to the main building, only one walkway will be closed, and guests will not be affected.
September 17, 2024- February 28, 2025: New Italian restaurant concept at Melanzanne. The service will be offered at the Pureza Restaurant once the Tamari Restaurant is complete.
Please note these plans are subject to change, and the dedicated hotel crew is working diligently to minimize disruptions throughout the renovation period.

i love this place BUT this time....

We love this place it was out 5th time to the area and 2ndd here the surf service and food entertainment was great. We had giant cockroaches in our room and our private pool. we were promised IF we signed a waiver not to sue they would comp the two nights with the issue. We signed it but they didnt comp the nights

Just awesome, in every way - an ample private beach, a happy and engaging staff - including custodial, servers and managers alike - a property with classy old-word charm with countless upgrades, and just a great all around happy Mexican vibe. Plus, after close to 15 visits here so far, this time the food was the best yet, by far. Being a food snob we have had plenty of hits and misses over the years here. This time, however, I believe I ate some of the most delicious meals...maybe ever. I actually asked to hug the chef, Tomas Cruz, several times, a first-ever for me. Plus, a new sports bar? Loved it. What a welcomed addition. Lastly, we recently acquired Hyatt credit cards, not the time-share deal, just the regular credit cards. Appreciated the extra attention as members. A top-notch resort in every way. Thank you Hyatt Ziva.
