    Everything was exceptional from arrival thru departure. The members working were attentive and willing to do whatever they could to ensure you enjoyed your stay at this resort. I have stayed at other secrets resorts and this one outshines them. I will look forward to having another stay at this resort on on future vacations.

    I would probably rate this hotel very close 4.5 stars. We knew going into this that things are probably going to be different due to Covid and we totally took that into consideration. There are a few negatives but first some of the positive notes: I will start by saying the cleaning procedures are out of this world. Much better than what we have here in the US. All the staff wears masks and glasses/goggles except when in the pool. The service at the bars and restaurants was beyond fantastic. Every staff member was very polite and always cheerful to help us. Our concierge was Roger and he was amazing. Always asking if we needed anything and also set up a special bottle of champagne and rose petals in our room for our anniversary. The staff do go out of their way to help. I was looking for Roger one afternoon and a staff member, I believe part of housekeeping named Hugo (I think) immediately noticed I was looking for Roger, and stopped what he was doing to help call Roger for me, and stayed to talked to me while I waited. Things like that show how much they care and value customer service. Charlie on the entertainment team was so nice and had a great time playing volleyball with him. Super fun to be around. Freddy at breakfast was always a joy to see and he was so quick to bring coffee and mimosas. Danny at the pool was awesome and always had drinks for us before we were even out. I know there were so many more that I did not get names for unfortunately. The food was quite good aside from a couple of dishes. The steakhouse had good steak and was cooked how we ordered it. Oceana was our favorite and the crab cakes were awesome. We were a little disappointed in the Asian theme night. It was a bunch of noodle dishes and I think we were just hoping for sushi. The breakfast was great, and most items were already portioned out so you could just grab and go without touching the spoons. Drinks were spot on. Nothing seemed watered down and they had a good variety of liquors to choose from. The room was spotless, and they came in each night for the turndown service. Evening entertainment was ok. None of the shows really stood out as exceptional but they are all talented and work so hard. The beach was beautiful and hardly any seaweed. The night club was closed due to Covid but they did have open the outside Sugar Reef bar, which had TV’s and pool tables. I’ve been to some resorts where it feels like you wait in line for everything. Not here though. Service was superfast everywhere from bars to the coffee shop. Dinners did take a while but that is typical among these places. If you go here or any resort, please tip well. These people are so happy to be back at work and do work exceptionally hard. Ok on to a few negatives. We did have an early flight so we knew we would be there before check-in. That was fine, but we were immediately asked to do the VIP breakfast (sales pitch) after saying we were extremely tired and just wanted to rest. They also tried to get us to upgrade to the preferred for $100 a day, which I thought was a lot. I already knew that we were getting a preferred room and the only thing I would be getting for the $100 extra per day are some mini alcohol bottles in the room, which we don’t need, and the preferred club, which is temporarily a honeymoon suite at one end of the property that has some additional alcohol. You also get a preferred section of the beach. We sort of felt that they were taking advantage of the fact that we were beyond exhausted and just wanted to get into a room quickly. We just felt that they were trying to upsell us on everything. These are first impressions and end up being lasting impressions. We were also disappointed in the time limits for water volleyball. We were only allowed to play three short games at a time, and they would remove the net, even with 10-20 of us asking to keep playing. It did seem as though the members of the entertainment team would have let us play longer but this was a management decision. I’ve been to many all-inclusive resorts over the years and never seen activities like that so scheduled with no flexibility, especially if lots of people want to keep playing and having fun. Aside from Charlie and Andrea(I think that was her name) we didn't really get to know any of the entertainment team as we have with other resorts. With everything said, I would return to this resort if there was a good deal. We did visit Secrets Puerto Los Cabos last year and would say they are very similar.

    God created this beautiful beach and the team of Secrets Marina Beach made it the perfect getaway place with an incredible attention to details, great food and drinks, and beautiful spa. They work really hard on sanitizing and cleaning, making us feel very safe. Great team, great service.

    Resort was beautiful, the rooms and service were amazing. Pool and beach are clean. The food was excellent no complaints at all! Ramon from the restaurant El Patio was one of the best waiters I’ve had and made our experience here even better. Set up a beautiful dinner with tequila tasting with each course they brought out. Would definitely recommend coming here!

    We had a great time at Secrets, Charlie from entertainment and Esther our building concierge make this trip much more enjoyable, great property, location and service ??????????. The beach this year is amazing, love to stay under the palapas on the beach ??, the service on the beach and by the pool were great, we only missed the whoa effect of the Lobby and the restaurant that are being remodel. Hope to go back when they are done
