This is our second visit to Bermuda, first to Grotto Bay and we highly recommend it. We travelled here for 4 nights with our adult son for a brief get away and what a great time. We were on the all inclusive plan and found this to be good value and convenient. The food is excellent, the wine and beer of good quality and the staff are friendly. We found the included transit passes were well used. The hotel is located right on a bus stop which can quickly take you anywhere you want to go. A lovely beach with water sports and a cave to visit round out the property. The only caution would be for those with mobility issues as it is a walk down to the beach and lunch restaurant.

Great location, all inclusive well worth it in Bermuda

4 min drive from airport, if you you are moderate to heavy drinker and will be in resort most of the time, purchase the all inclusive that includes themed dinners. Spa in the cave was amazing according to my wife and you can also swim ina cave. kayaks and other water activities are also included, Ac in rooms worked well and the bus pass was very helpful (5 dlls each way) Great jacuzzi and pool with stools by the bar, as well as private beach. Not cheap, but then again nothing in bermuda is cheap. Don't remmeber the bartender's name (indian descent) was great also Sonia in reservations, will come back for sure, thanks for a great vacaction, travelled to attend Bermuda vs Mexico soccer match and our Mexican team were also guests and hotel managed it great.

    Fantastic hotel, fantastic staff.

We stayed here in September for 9 days on all inclusive basis, our second visit the previous visit was 3 years ago and we knew we would return as soon as possible. It was as perfect as the last time, The rooms had been updated and looked very stylish and fresh and have a fridge and coffee machine. The food is excellent in all areas, we could not fault the excellent choice, presentation or the value for money. The atmosphere throughout is warm and welcoming because the staff are fantastic, in particular Vanessa our room attendant, Razvan, Fernandinho and Victor, the management team were always visible, approachable and interested in their staff and customers. We were here during Hurricane Humberto and were very very impressed by the way the hotel handled this ..the manager gave a very professional, thorough and calm briefing to inform us all how to stay safe. Food and beverages were provided in a timely efficient manner before the winds became too strong then the hotel staff who needed to were able to go home where they had to prepare their homes and families. The next day the staff worked tirelessly to make safe all public areas and provide excellent service for us all so well when most of the rest of the island was still without power and sustained much damage ...the Management team were out from early morning sweeping and hosing down areas covered in debris and battling with errant sunbeds etc on the beach assisting their teams. Can’t wait to return and highly recommend Grotto Bay.

What an absolutely amazing experience!! The massage was outstanding. BUT the setting in a cave was incredible. While getting massaged by the Massage Therapist, you listen to the dripping of water from the stalactites into the pool of water beneath your floating wooden platform. So very peaceful. The dim lighting adds to the very zen experience. There’s a relaxation area where you can just relax before or afterwards. Such a relaxing experience I hope to be in Bermuda again so I can visit this resort again. You can use the spa services even if not a guest at the beautiful resort. Excellent massage and super pleasant, unique experience.

Ashley the front desk manager and Nadine the room attendant, how we miss you!!! This was our second time here, 15 YEARS later (yes you read that correctly)! If you care about "supporting and sustaining local", then this hotel is a must. I believe it is the only remaining establishment owned and operated by Bermudians... all other hotels are from chains outside the country... its homey, clean, small, beautiful, and has a grotto which means the fish and wild life are especially incredible !! Dont come here if you're looking for a traditional Marriott or Hilton experience, its a grab your own towels, and find your own nook kinda place.. My understanding is that it is one of the few if not only all inclusive spots on the island as well, and I would definitely recommend upgrading to it... the food at the pool grille is delish and keeping the drinks flowing is much easier with that option... This place is home away from home.. worth checking out !!
