Never again under any circumstances

SunnysideupFL1 (Hallandale Beach, Florida) on Apr 26, 2024

Never ever again! Not even for free. Not even if they pay me. I don’t know where to start with what a sad vacation property this is. First of all, it is not all inclusive. You are charged for room service. If you want room service you are charged a fee, Plus. When I look at the room service menu there’s all sorts of prices. I don’t know if it’s pesos or dollars doesn’t matter I wouldn’t touch a thing. When I pulled up, there was not a wonderful valet person to come and greet me welcome me and take my bags. Nothing. I parked to the car and came in and had a security guard confront me with what was I doing? I said I was going ready to check in. The girl at the check-in was very nice. Of course, if I had seen the room first I would’ve probably said no thank you and gotten in my car and gone to find another hotel. They give you a wristband and a fob key. The last resort I came from had an adorable wristband which served as the room key, so you didn’t have to bother to take a fob with you to the pool or beach, etc. it was always on your wrist. I was sadly disappointed when I arrived at the room. It is the most bare bones room I have ever stayed at in any hotel in Cancun and I’ve stayed at at least 10 hotels in Cancun. The room is old and in desperate need of renovation. There is not even a place to plug your phone and computer in at the tiny desk area as in most hotels. There is not even an electrical outlet near the bed to plug your phone. The bathroom is so tiny that if you’re sitting on the toilet, there is barely enough room to close the door. If you are sitting on the toilet and put 1 foot out then you’re in the shower. It’s unbelievable. I went to wash my face in the vanity sink and they don’t even give you a washcloth. The toilet paper is like sandpaper and not surprisingly one ply. It’s basically the saddest room I’ve ever been in in any hotel and I have stayed at five different hotels during this trip alone. I went to the pool and there were two people employees of this place dancing looking pretty miserable. It was definitely a far cry from the hotel. I had just come from Casa Maya where they had gorgeous girls and guys dancing with joy and exuberance and creating a super fun time for everyone in the pool. I really felt sorry for these two people. So it is not all inclusive. That’s the first misrepresentation. How can I describe how bad the food is. I went to the buffet for dinner and quite frankly nothing, not one thing looked appetizing. I finally took a piece of cold pizza and a serving of a piece of pork which was very heavily salted. It’s also a relatively small buffet. When I look around, it looks like mostly unsophisticated travelers, a lot of very young kids and a bunch of older very overweight people. I was going to stay here two nights, but I’m so disgusted staying here for the few ours I’ve been here, that I’m leaving tomorrow and going back home taking a flight two days early. Consequently I do not, do not recommend this hotel!
