Our trip began with a bit of a rocky start, we had reserved two rooms and when we arrived, we were checked in and one of our rooms was already occupied. Our party was then split up into different towers due to rooms not being available at the time. With a bit of back and forth we finally managed to get two rooms on the same floor a couple days later. The rooms we ended up with were nice and spacious, clean, and had an amazing view of the ocean. We were still optimistic about enjoying our vacation, and we did! The views were amazing, the food was good and we had a great experience dining at the restaurant by the pools. Thanks to Dalida, we had outstanding service and we always looked forward to seeing her for breakfast and lunch. She was very inviting and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meals and were well taken care of. The bartender by the pool was also great! Although he was busy, he was efficient and pleasant. After a bit of a rough start, I have to say, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Occidental Tucancún and were pleased with the overall experience. The resort was consistently clean and well maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout our visit. The room was beautiful and serviced daily, which we appreciated. The food was very good, offering a wide variety of options with consistent quality. The à la carte restaurants were a highlight, and upgrading to the premium option was well worth it. The ability to reserve à la carte dining in advance was very convenient, and access to the premium lounge was an excellent added feature. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A special mention to Sabino, who was always available to assist and contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable, we truly appreciated him. There were numerous activities available during the day, along with a variety of evening entertainment, ensuring there was always something to do. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend this resort to anyone seeking a clean, enjoyable, and relaxing getaway with excellent service and amenities. We would gladly return in the future.

We recently stayed at Occidental Tucancún, and it was truly the most amazing place I have ever visited. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. We were welcomed with such warmth, and that feeling stayed with us throughout our entire trip. Our room featured a huge balcony overlooking the ocean, waking up to that breathtaking view each day was something we will never forget. The beach is stunning and incredibly well-maintained. The staff works hard every single day to keep it clean and free of sargassum, which made a huge difference in our experience. The ocean itself is just beautiful, clear, vibrant, and picture-perfect. The food exceeded all expectations. We dined multiple times at both the Italian and Mexican restaurants, and each meal was fantastic. The buffet offered a great variety, and we especially loved the snacks available throughout the day in the lounge and lobby bar, such a thoughtful touch. The resort itself has everything you could want. There are three pools, each offering a different vibe, and plenty of lounge chairs: there's no stress about finding a spot. We also loved the daily activities, from morning yoga and stretching to the fun afternoon entertainment. The evening shows in the theatre were such a highlight, so enjoyable and well done. The souvenir shops were another pleasant surprise. There are several to explore, with an incredible variety of items. So many cool things to see as you walk through the resort. There was even an area to borrow books from. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the people. Every single staff member we encountered was kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. A special mention goes to Sabino and his entire team; they go above and beyond to ensure guests feel safe, comfortable, and cared for always. And the bartenders, simply the best we’ve experienced anywhere in the world! This resort exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We left already dreaming about coming back. If you’re considering staying at Occidental Tucancún, don’t hesitate; you will not be disappointed. Thank you again, Sabino and team, for the best time I’ve had on a resort vacation. This hotel has it all. Sun, fun, great location and a staff that is very attentive. Made for a wonderful stay. The views are perfect and the hotel overall, is a great value. Will stay again.

Another return trip to the Occidental Tucancun and once again it never disappoints! It is the people that keep me going, Sabino, Ismael, Antonio and Luis are the best and made our stay very special and fun! We found the resort very clean and the food was always plentiful with much variety. Our room was always done before returning from the pool late afternoon with fresh towels and fridge replenished. Having the 3 very different pools is great! It is so nice to have an adult only pool area, the activity pool and the infinity pool, there is a pool for everyone. My daughter and I have been to this hotel multiple times, but it was the first time at this resort, for the other 4 people that were with us and each person said they would definitely go back! It is one of my favourite places to be and I can't wait to go back!
