We stay in march’24 for 2 weeks & from day one the holiday was excellent, we had a great room over looking the pool & sea on the second floor. The room was a good size for the 2 of us, double sink & big shower. Very nice free mini bar in the room. The pool & sun-bed was very nice, sun-bed are booked early, but make sure you are sat on them from 10am otherwise the towels will be moved & taken by the sun-bed guys. The food was all good, we mainly used the Italian & Mexican restaurant for dinner, we dined at 7pm & only 1 night has to wait for a table. Breakfast was good & after 2 days the breakfast team knew our hot drinks order as we sat down (Beto), great omelet & fried egg station, pancakes, waffles, French toast & all the other British items. Drinks around the pool can get busy so would recommend taking your own large drinks bottle, so you don’t have the visit the bar all the time, the waiting team do come around the sun beds for drinks orders too, if you don’t want to move. The DJ around the pool was playing great tunes from 10am onwards, great atmosphere. The beach was all nice clean & had sun beds if needed. The hotel was all very safe with security on all the gates, we walked to the shopping mail, which was 1.5miles away & it was very safe. The evening entertainment was good with live bands on the front drive every night from 9pm & great atmosphere! The main bar is very busy 7pm to 9pm but quiet after that, nice coffee shop for ice creams. I would recommend & return, it was excellent !!! Thank you

I traveled in April with my wife and two sons ages 15 and 17. The beach area is amazing. If you are looking for a great beach this is the place to go. All the wait staff and workers are kind and willing to help. Our butlers Hector and Raphael were very helpful. Even Rorro who was out butler last year remembered us and was super helpful. We are at all the restaurants with Isla being our favorite. Roy was a great waiter at Isla restaurant We will definitely come back but we are hearing the resort will be under some renovation so we will wait and see.

This is my third Hard Rock resort I have stayed at. The Cabo and Punta Cana locations are in a completely different class than Cancun location. This is pushing a 3 star hotel. To say this is a 5 star hotel is absolutely criminal.i visited for a business company trip and everyone who I work with had some comments. To say this is a fixer upper is an understatement. My sink broke and was running water for more than 2 hours till they came. Ironically enough another colleague experienced same problem. My shower door was unhinged and could not shut so naturally it flooded bathroom every single shower. Tiles moldy in corner of showers. Food was decent and staff was good. Unfortunately the resort itself is an outdated dump that looks like a seedy motel vs resort. I strongly recommend a hard pass on this resort regardless of your purpose for visit. It was so bad we were suppose to leave Sunday and changed flight to leave a day early. Keep in mind it’s an all inclusive trip that I paid $0.00 for a still feel like I wasted my time being here.thats how bad this place sucks

We had a fantastic time. Traveled with family from ages 4-60. Great time was had by everyone. A huge shout out to AB and Gerky who made us feel like Rock Royalty. They went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. Mary and Jesus at the pool were awesome as well. Can’t wait to go back!!!

For the attention grabber: I got STUCK in the SHOWER! Yes, I really did... They have glass doors and the door was falling off the hinge and got stuck on the floor. I was afraid of pulling any harder because I didn't want to break the door and have it shatter on me. I had to wait until my husband found me, then another 30 min for the hotel maintenance to come and get me out. Yes, it took them 30 minutes to come to my room and help. Their "compensation" for my trouble - an upgrade to VIP which really only means you have access to better quality alcohol until 6pm at a bar no one goes to because it is on a different floor. So basically - nothing. The quality of the alcohol was very low at the other bars. They claim they have patron (which to me is not good quality) but I think they only have one bottle per day and get rid of it by the time it's 11:00 a.m. You can tell the hotel used to be great - now, the service is great, food is good but the hotel is rundown. Not dirty but rundown. The pool is falling apart (tiles are everywhere) the window tints are peeling off and everything just feels old and dated. I understand they are renovating in October, if that happens I would come back... Until then, no way. Oh but definitely NOT WITH KIDS - I wouldn't call the people there kid friendly. Oh and when it says Deluxe 2 bedroom - it is not a suite it is just adjoining 2 rooms. We thought we were booking a suite. Large disappointment. Also, we were on the 7th floor and can hear the shows going on and music until late hours.
