If you can't have fun in Vegas, you must be dead inside!

Aerial A (Gosport, United Kingdom) on May 05, 2024

Had an amazing stay at the Mirage, the hotel and casino were fantastic. Plenty of bars and restaurant options. The resident Cirque du Soleil "Love" show was mind blowing and a definite must see. Central to all activities, we packed the week with loads of fun including a Raiders game at the Allegiant Stadium, the Titanic Museum, dining at Paris Paris (in the Eiffel Tower), and the obligatory roller coaster ride at New York New York. Absolutely no complaints about the Mirage or Vegas.

Visited here winter 2023.

Hubby and I came to the outside location of the Mirage, to watch the fire show, that was still ongoing in Mar 2023. It was a great show, with many people stopping outside to enjoy it. After the show, we then went inside to tour around the lobby and casino area. Lovely plant area inside! This hotel will be changing soon.

Everything has a hidden price to get you!

First I am going to say a few good things: Bed was comfortable Pantry restaurant was awesome for breakfast California Pizza was delicious Gelato place was so good Shin Lim show was top notch cons: when we checked in we were told about the resort fee charged to each room, $190.48(that was after paying . $967.00 for 4 nights. You cannot use the fridge in room or touch anything in it or leave it open too long or you get charged a really inflated price per item. There are also bottles of water and snacks on counter that you can't even pick up or you get charged for that, $18 for a bottle of water! Our room when we got in it was half cleaned apparently after last guests. The carpet was not vacuumed (a did ask and got one of the maids to clean it up,(very nice) and the counters were not wiped down. Then we had rented a car and paid for valet parking. Sign says $34 a day but they charged us $47.62 a day(with taxes). Very disappointed with how expensive everything was.

Terrible experience

Kevin A on Apr 29, 2024

It is a terrible experience in this hotel. The room was lacked basic amenities like a water boiler, of course no coffee, tea, or even a refrigerator. The hotel charges insane amount for them. There was a minibar with questionable contents (indicating potential prior use) and an unrecognized charge on my account. Resolving these issues with the hotel staff took considerable time and effort. Despite closely monitoring our room charges every day, we were surprised to find discrepancies in the final bill upon check-out.

truth about Mirage pool and hotel

postalman (New York) on Apr 25, 2024

Rented chairs at the pool for 50 dollars each was a great investment so we could have an umbrella for shade. If not, you are in the sun which is tough to stay in all day. Getting into the pool having to scan the room key card is a real pain as the line moves quite slowly and takes way too long as people line up before the pool opens. . After getting in you then have to go to another station and check in for the chairs or day beds you have rented. Easy enough but when there are some folks in front of you this can take another 10 to 15 minutes. We stayed in mirage suite which was great with refrig and ice maker as well. Hotel is getting a bit old as I have been going to Vegas for decades and the mirage is a bit dated but if you are going for the pool, I would say it's a great place to stay as this pool is second to none. Went to Beatles Love show and it was fabulous. The Heritage steak house which is pricy delivered on service and quality of food expensive but well worth it. Overall location is still great but the check in is not great if you come at the wrong time you can be online over an hour to check in. Employees at desk and pool are friendly and I found the service excellent.
