The best vacation spot, staff and experience of my life.

This was honestly the best vacation of my life for 3 reasons: 1) Cancun is a magical location. 2) The all inclusive experience is hands down the best so you’re not constantly worrying over where to eat and how much it will cost 3) the staff were absolutely incredible and surpassed expectations over and over again. Rodrigo on security found us a large conch shell that had washed up during his 3 am night shift. I had only ever heard of finding those in the wee hours of the morning. The Sweets and Coffee team never said no to even 1 request for exotic ingredients in our coffees or crepes and went so far as hunting them down in other restaurants on the property. Shoutout to Eric and everyone on the team who were the definition of kindness and selfless service. Eric specifically gave me classes on how to froth the milk for late art when he heard me say I have an espresso machine at home. Alejandra on the guest services team put out so many fires for us during our trip when reservations got mixed up, plans got turned upside down and everything was a mess. When you travel here, make sure you have her on your team from hour 1. Gerta was hands down the best Manni-Pedi technician and as it turns out, it’s because she literally has a degree in all of the intricacies that are possible for this spa treatment. And Claudia was the same with massage, weaving in deep tissue pressure with Hawaiian massage techniques that use the forearm to run all over the body for maximum coverage. Lorenzo at the spa desk literally got a new name tag when I found out his name wasn’t really “Larry” and I told him Lorenzo has more ‘pizazz.’ Big shout out to Johnathan on the entertainment team as well. You could see he was very authentically himself and would love to stay and chat and laugh with you about anything and everything. Lastly Chef Daniella and Uwaldo from Aurora literally carved out time every, single, day to my wife and I to make fresh pressed ginger shots after we asked and pulled up the recipe on Google images. They memorized it and had their people begin the process every morning once the saw is walk in. Where else does this for you unless you’re a billionaire? It was just consistently over the top service and always with a smile on their faces. And an, “it’s my pleasure.” I think we are done looking for our family destination and can’t wait to make this a twice a year vacation.
A great couples getaway

As long time Palace members we decided to visit Sun Palace for a couples getaway. It isn't promoted as much as Palace's other properties, but we were pleasantly surprised with our trip. The property was recently renovated and looked great and is conveniently located at the beginning of the hotel zone in Cancun, so it's not too busy but still close to everything. The food and service at the grill, Italian and Mexican restaurants were fantastic. And the poolside activities were allot of fun thanks to Allan and Jonathan. We had a great time and will be coming back again soon.
