We had a great stay at the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort. I wasn’t sure what to expect due to some of the negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms are small and outdated, but clean. We were on the 6th floor. Hotel staff was friendly. The Hotel is across the street from Disney’s parking lot, very easy walk to the free shuttle to the parks. We visited the hotel lounge a couple of nights and got good service, given that there was only one person working there. Antonio was very nice and attentive. We did the breakfast buffet one morning and that was good too. The only downside for us is that there was no microwave in the room, only a fridge. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely return!

We stayed here for 3 night as part of our honeymoon. The room was clean + comfortable. We also had a fridge; coffee machine.+ Iron. The room itself was pretty spacious with good storage if you were staying longer. Staff were friendly and helpful when interacted with. Short walk to shop; restaurants - Disneyland. Only slight downside was the shower pressure was a bit low; even when you changed the setting. But we still enjoyed our stay Overall a very pleasant stay.

This was my first visit to this hotel. The staff at check in was nice and friendly. They offered me a fee upgrade to a suite based on my purchase package. They always said bye when we left and check out was quick and easy. I wish the hotel itself was better. It’s old and run down. You could tell that the suite was extended by walling in a balcony. The beds were horrible, every one on the trip woke up with sore backs and necks. The shower has zero water pressure and went cold when a toilet from another room was flushed. If I had paid less then I wouldn’t expect more but you can pay roughly the same amount for better quality. I visit this area at least twice a year but I won’t be staying at this hotel again.

Older hotel, poor shower pressure BUT good price & within walking distance to Disneyland

Our family of 5 (kids = 14, 11, 6) stayed 8 nights (Dec 19-27, 2018) at the Clarion. Hotel is older but solid. Our main priority was that it was close enough to walk to the Main Gates of Disneyland and this fit the bill. About 20min walk south is a Target which sells groceries so we made two trips there to load up on fruit, snacks, etc. Hotel has an outdoor pool, coin-operated laundry (2 washers, 2 dryers. Each load is US$2). Front desk was courteous and check in / check out was painless. Main concerns: 1. we had very poor shower pressure the duration of our stay 2. sofa bed is OLD and ridiculously uncomfortable but the kids were so tired each day that it was good enough. Overall, a decent choice!!

We stayed for 4 nights but had enough after 1. Our horrible stay started after we came back from Disneyland around 8:30pm extremely exhausted and just wanted to go to sleep. We walked in to find out our room hadn’t been serviced by the housekeeper (see attached picture) and the toilet had leaked all over the bathroom floor.. I was at this point angry and disgusted and decided to phone down stairs and make a complaint. They apologised about the room not getting serviced but informed me that they wouldn’t be coming up to make the bed as the cleaner had left for the day.. but they would send the maintenance guy up to look at the toilet. 5 minutes later the maintenance guy knocks on the door. He takes a quick look at it and grabs a clean towel from the rack and wipes up the toilet water off the floor that had leaked.. i then asked him if anybody would be coming up to disinfect the floor he replied The cleaner isnt available until tomorrow. I phone the front desk again and demanding someone come up to disinfect the floor we have to shower in here and to know there are feaces on the floor doesn’t sit right with me. The guy on the desk doesn’t seem to care at all and was very unhelpful. After that happened I decided to pull the top sheet off the bed and I was shocked and I mean shocked to find 10 different coloured hairs on the sheet obviously from previous people that have stayed in the room. (See attached photo) The hotel doesn’t change the top sheet on the bed. I also found a bed bug crawling around on the bed I have once again attached a photo. I asked for a refund from the manager from the front desk so we could go elsewhere and he said that a refund wasn’t possible as we booked through a travel agency. Why does it matter who we booked through. The Clarion hotel Anaheim is absolutely disgusting and ruined our stay we wanted to leave and go to another hotel after the first night but couldn’t afford to. I cringed every night getting into that hairy bed bug infested hole the clarion calls a clean bed. I am contacting the Orange County health department about this experience as this is recommended for families visiting Disneyland and it is posing a severe health risk to people staying in this hotel.
