Short stay

Katehen84 on May 07, 2022

We stayed here for 3 nights and while we were quite far away from LA as we expected this location was just what we needed. Upon checking in we were told about the restaurant and bar but upon later checking we discovered that the restaurant was only open for breakfast and the bar has not been open since the start of the pandemic, despite the cocktail sign being lit up at the entrance to the bar as well as posters in the elevators saying the restaurant was serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now 2 years out of date. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and ample towels, we did have a balcony looking onto the carpark is would have been nice to have a couple of chairs out there to enjoy the fresh air. The pool area was very nice, not over run with sunbeds and also had tables and chairs, this area was kept clean. There was a self service little shop with snacks and drinks. We did have the breakfast and it was nice, always well stocked and staff helpful. We were lucky to have other restaurants nearby and also shops to buy essentials. We checked out at 11am and we're able to still have access to the pool and store luggage.

Dirty Room

MrRetro001 on May 05, 2022

Room was in need of a good clean. There was a layer of dust on the side table where the tv was. Large stains on the carpets. Grubby floor tiles in the bathroom and dirt on the walls. When we first arrived there was no safe key, so they had to send maintenance to change the lock. Then we had maintenance up a second time a few days later as the flush on the toilet broke. Then, a 3rd visit as the drainage backed up so the bath tub wasn't emptying. Only positive was the bed sheets were clean. Not worth the $309 a night as stated on the back of the bathroom door.

Great base

Holidaylover101q (London, United Kingdom) on Apr 25, 2022

This hotel was clean , comfortable with friendly staff and great location. Nice short walk to Disney and downtown Disney. It’s an older style decor but if your looking for a base for Disney this is perfect

Shabby and in major need of renovation

reviewer0101 (St. Louis, MO) on Apr 20, 2022

An older hotel that is in serious need of a rehab. We booked two rooms and both were pretty shabby. The bathroom was very small and did not seem like it was cleaned very well. The beds were ok. We hardly spent time in the rooms because we were at Disneyland and this was the cheapest option around. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Convenient hotel with easy access to Disneyland, what more could you ask for?

Snaro (Pasig) on Apr 01, 2022

Thanks to this hotel I had a great first time in Disneyland. Locating it was very easy, and parking was a breeze (although the parking lot is outdoor only). You have to pay per day but the price is reasonable. The front desk staff were very kind and checking in only took a few minutes. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy. Of course, the biggest advantage of this hotel is its close proximity to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. There are also a couple of restaurants that are within walking distance. Getting to Disneyland was extremely easy: all we had to do was cross the street and enter the Toy Story parking lot, where free shuttles will be waiting to bring you to the Disneyland entrance. It's a simple 5-minute walk, and it seems everyone does this as none of the Disneyland staff at the shuttle area cared if you parked in the Toy Story parking area or not. The shuttle ride to Disneyland was only 10 minutes long. We took the same shuttle to get back to Clarion every sunset. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Disneyland in the future, especially if you're on a tight budget. The room prices are very affordable and our stay was as comfortable as it could've been.
