Good value alternative to Marriott

bobcX8260BG (Cambridge, United Kingdom) on Feb 07, 2024

I stayed here as I was attending a conference at the Martiott next door. It is very close, ghee bef was comfortable, the blinds and shower worked well. The room was very beige & the breakfast buffet a bit basic but very good value. The staff were helpful. So not the most elegant surroundings but excellent value & I felt I was in good hands

Good value

jai_dee74 (Belfast, United Kingdom) on Jan 29, 2024

I stayed here for four nights, like many people the main (sole) purpose of my trip was to visit Disneyland. First up, the hotel is a little dated and could do with a bit of a refresh, but in saying that the hotel serves its purpose. The bed was incredibly comfortable, of my ten night holiday the four I stayed here gave me the four best nights sleep of the trip. Additionally the small balcony was an added, unexpected bonus. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from Disney, a straight road with one major crossing. One minor negative - there was no in room safe. There was something that looked as if it might be a safe that required a key to open, but there was no key. I could also gripe about the toilet, specifically the height of it - it resembled a child’s toilet - but again it still served its purpose. This is likely to have been a once in a lifetime trip so it is doubtful I will ever return, but if I did I would have no qualms about staying here again.

Convenient walking to Disneyland

jarkdr (Lafayette, Indiana) on Jan 23, 2024

Honestly this hotel was great. We booked it thru the Disney website and got a package with tickets for 3 day park hopper. We came to California just to visit Disney and typically we don’t book to spend time in the hotel. We looked for a value hotel that was walking distance. Just out the door to the right, then take a left and it’s like a mile to the gates. This route does not take you thru Disney springs but that’s ok it’s not far. Lots of commerce along the way including a CVS for necessities. (They even sell ponchos!) We were on the 8th floor. The hotel was fairly quiet. We had a decent view. The place is secure and well kept. Ok the bathrooms were a little tired but it was nice with ceramic tile and none of that acrylic tub surround. Would totally stay there again.

Great location with clean, comfortable rooms

WilliamP1986 (Belfast, United Kingdom) on Jan 20, 2024

Just back from a 4 night stay. Yes the hotel is dated but for the location and price it is perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and polite in any interactions we had with them. The room was clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linens soft and cozy. Took us about 20 minutes to walk to Disney. Couldn’t fault the place and would stay again if we were back in the area.

Nice stay

AnthL (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom) on Jan 12, 2024

We stayed for 8 nights from 26th December 23. Were a family of 4 who wanted something within our budget and close to Disney. We read quite a few reviews before booking this hotel and we were a bit nervous based on a few negative points but we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. We asked for a high floor and were were given one. the room and hotel are clean but the decor is quite old, which didnt bother is too much. its about a 10 minute walk to the toy story parking for the bus into Disney and 5 mins from a 7/11 and 10 mins to Dennys and other eating places. About a 20 minute walk to Disney The pool is nice although still quite cold even with the heating on but there were loads of towels and good for 15 mins with the kids. We didnt have breakfast in the hotel but it did seem quite reasonably prices and there is free coffee is is a lot better then the coffee you get in the room. Shame there isnt a bar is the hotel even though there is a sign saying it opens from 5pm apparently its permanently closed. The room was 2 double beds which was a tight squeeze when were used to a king sized bed at home. i ended up sleeping on the sofa bed which wasnt very comfortable but we managed. Overall a good stay
