We had an excellent stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. The property was very easy to find from the airport. Valet parking was easy and right at the entrance. The hotel is located at or near the bay with plenty of interesting things withing walking distance. As Globalist, the World Of Hyatt Elite Check-In line was fast, friendly and professional. We were provided with all of the necessary information regarding our stay including the Club Lounge hours. We were upgraded to a very nice suite with an outstanding view. Two bath rooms are such a luxury...the large suite and grand views sure made us feel special and appreciated as guests. The lounge was staffed by a full team...always friendly and consistently kept the tables clean and food stocked. Breakfast was a large buffet of eggs, meats, cold cuts, fruits and more. Afternoon snacks were followed by a very tasty evening serving...we found the roast beef and potatoes oustanding! Arriving four hours later than expected the club lounge was great. Desserts...tasty and continuous treats! Our entire stay was so nice. The staff, location and facility represent some of the best in the Hyatt portfolio. The Manchester Grand Hyatt has been another one of my bucket-list hotels for some time...I look forward to returning.

Food and beverage prices are excessive. Was charged 90 dollars for two 3 oz pours of Woodford Reserve. I am a seasoned business travelers but that is a tipping point price. Ridiculous!

Step by the hotel for one night I met ordinary room with tap cold water not working , air conditioning noisy and too cold a bit too far away the image Hyatt gives from the outside

I experienced a colossal failure in customer service at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, which left me utterly disappointed and seriously inconvenienced. After reserving a room months in advance for a crucial one-day conference hosted at the hotel, I arrived only to be greeted with the stunning news that the hotel was overbooked. They cavalierly offered to shuttle me to another hotel 15 minutes away, completely disregarding the inconvenience and the purpose of my stay. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, Eric Rogers from Hotel Management was unhelpful, stating that nothing could be done and not even one room was available for me, despite the urgency of my situation. The situation took an even more infuriating turn when I learned that a guest who checked in after me and complained was subsequently upgraded to a penthouse suite. This selective treatment and mismanagement are simply unacceptable. What's worse, it wasn't just me—over 60 guests from our conference were relocated due to their overbooking. This kind of logistical nightmare speaks volumes about their mismanagement and lack of respect for their guests. I canceled my reservation and found refuge in a nearby Hilton, where the service was significantly more reliable. Thanks to the utter lack of consideration and professionalism from Eric Rogers and Jonah Stone at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, my entire experience was ruined. This hotel's handling of overbookings and customer service is reprehensible. If you are attending an event at this location, book elsewhere to avoid potential chaos and disappointment.
