Our very first Sandals 8 uears ago was this one. I was hooked. We are emerald members and this was our 6 visit to a Sandals. We brought our friends here. MASSIVE dissappint. Rooms and grounds were kept up very nice. Not enough staff, staff was NOT Jamaica friendly. We were highly disspointed as i thought we'd visit a Sandals every year. Staff seemed as if they hated being there. Ice machines out on both floors. Called twice every day to get ice delivered was told we will be there shortly. Nevwr saq the ice. Nit enoufh bar tenders-20 minutes for a beer and bartenders overwhlemed. Im used ro the bartenders beinf the most of all employess. Wd wont be back to a Sandals unless we get a big discount to Review and see if its changed. I want to give AALIYAH 5 stars! She made this trip fun and enjoyable and we can’t gush enough about her! Sandals, keep that girl happy because she is amazing! Amelia with entertainment was amazing and I don’t know how that girl isn’t famous because she can sing! Food was better than most resorts I’ve stayed at, the Italian is 5 stars. Response to issues in the room was lax, spent the better part of a day and a half trying to get running hot water to the room. Our butlers were nice but maybe a little overworked or too busy? We hardly asked for anything save a ride or two and would have to grab a ride with someone else. We chose to walk most times. They did try to add a few nice touches to the room which was appreciated. Overall, I would stay at another resort for half the price with the same experience, but I would go back for Aaliyah and Amelia!
