I can’t imagine a nicer resort for the value than Barcelo! I have personally stayed at beach, caribe, tropical and colonial. Have yet to stay at the palace (which I hear has better food at the buffets and unlimited al a carte dinner reservations) besides the food being fair quality and monotonous, my family absolutely loves this resort. It is SO big and SO beautiful. Meticulously well kept and updated through the years! I’ve been coming every year 2016-present, sometimes 2x a year, we even got married here. I really don’t know how any one could complain about anything besides the food being mediocre, but the beauty and high quality of the entire property keeps us coming back. They have reefs with lots of beautiful fish and even sea turtles year round that you can swim with for free! Trust me.. book the trip, you won’t regret it!!

Service was good, food was good, things were well Looked after, cleaned no real complaints about this place other than the restaurant Capri. Do not go there

Need to go back to Coca Cola, everybody I talked to hated that it was Pepsi. It makes the drinks taste bad. Also some of the drinks are considered premium, on cruise ships all brands except for a few are all included.

I CANT SAY ENOUGH. This place is amazing. Food 10, service 10, cleanliness 10, staff 10 everything 10 Anyone who complains about this is crazy. I've been to a bunch of resorts all over Cuba, Mexico and DR. Hands down the best! Our room was clean, and beautiful, balcony was great. Pool was immaculate, and the food is delicious and so much variety. Stay here, you will LOVE it!
