The Operations Control Centre (OCC) is the nerve center of WestJet. OCC manages more than 550 daily flights, more than 120 aircraft, tens of thousands of guests and hundreds of WestJet crews, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

OCC uses real-time operational information to keep the airline running smoothly. Awareness of up-to-date airline operations information, among the groups residing in the OCC area, is critical. The WestJet OCC is made up of controllers, dispatchers, crew schedulers, load controllers, guest solutions, operations coordinators and maintenance individuals.

If you have an aptitude for planning, attention to detail, and like working under pressure within ever changing conditions, our Operations Control Centre might be the place for you.

The WestJet Encore operations control centre (OCC) is responsible for conducting the safe operation of all Encore flights, planning the routes they fly, and scheduling the crews that manage them. The team is also responsible for reacting to changes due to situations, including inclement weather, in real time and organizing maintenance when necessary.

The diverse individuals on our OCC team are organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and adaptable to ever-changing situations. The decisions made within the OCC ripple outward to have implications on most areas of WestJet Encore.

If you feel like you are up to the task, consider joining our team.
