This hotel was a huge disappointment. The rooms are nothing like the pictures. Calling them “suites” is a stretch—they’re small, outdated, and nowhere near what the advertising suggests. The refrigerator and microwave looked like they were holding on for dear life, and the TVs don’t even support modern streaming apps, which feels outdated for a hotel in this price range. The posted quiet hours (10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) are meaningless. People were running the halls all night, yelling, slamming doors, and creating a constant disturbance. Ironically, the hotel seemed more concerned with enforcing pool hours than actual disruptive behavior. The pool closed at 9:00 p.m., yet groups of teenagers were hanging out in dark hallways drinking well into the night. Not an adult in sight. Parking was heinous. Drove around and around for 30 minutes to wait for a spot at 1030pm. The pool itself was dirty, with cloudy, murky water. The rules weren’t enforced there either. There were guests in the pool who didn’t appear to be following the diaper policy, and the amount of roughhousing—especially in the toddler area—made it unsafe for younger kids. Lifeguards stood by without intervening. Telling us they couldn’t do anything. No towels available, any of the 4 days we were there. Families hogging 8-9 chairs yet no one in sight. Watered down drinks at the bar. No lifeguard in the SECLUDED child area. The amenities were disappointing as well. The bars were already closed before 11:30 p.m., leaving very few options for guests who wanted to relax in the evening. To make matters worse, the smell of marijuana was everywhere, including throughout the common areas, making it impossible to escape. Overall, the property felt poorly managed, overcrowded, and nothing like the family-friendly resort it advertises. Between the misleading room photos, outdated amenities, lack of rule enforcement, and constant disturbances, I would not stay here again.

Awesome surf guides and epic rides for our big family

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were charged for parking, but we did not see any information beforehand indicating that parking required an additional fee, and there was no clear signage. The pool area was extremely crowded, and the floors of the apartment were dirty. We expected a cleaner and better-organized environment. We hope these issues can be addressed to improve future guests’ experiences.

It was a great experience every one enjoyed their stay at the family reunion. Staff extra nice the food was good thank you Ernie Lewis and Daniel atmosphere was great love the water park

Air conditioner did not work..so I was dripping sweat all night. Did not want to complain but it was not a restful night.
