Hotel, Staff and Amenities were terrific! Especially housekeeping, they were on top of it. Thanks again! However, we were robbed of one of our vacation days sadly. We booked for 6 nights and pre-planned our itinerary well in advance. We purchased our Magic Kingdom, Gatorland and Legoland tickets in advance with little time to spare for extra activities. This was our first family vacation. After I checked into the hotel main desk, I was called over to a side desk and told they had a gift for me, to chose either $110 cash on a prepaid visa or $140 vouchers to use at the shops in the resort. I had both of my Autistic sons with me and was distracted, my seven year old was in on the conversation to make things worse. I was told that they just wanted my family to tour their new resort that had a lazy river and was close to Disney. I was also told that it was 90 minutes and snacks would be provided. I was even offered Uber transportation. The only day my family had to spare was Thursday, that day we allotted to enjoy the waterpark, splashpad, hot tub, arcade, basketball, fitness centre, everything that OUR hotel had to offer and the entire reason for booking there. I said if it was only 90 minutes then we could come back and enjoy our hotel after the tour. Ok. I agreed to the Thursday at 12:30pm. Then I was asked for a $50 deposit to hold our spot and ensure we show up as spots were limited. I said to Austin, if you are going to try and sell me anything I am not interested. He said "No, only to tour of our new waterpark. (this waterpark resort was not new, he lied) We arrived at the property 10 minutes late, we drove ourself and got lost. Everyone was welcoming and nice. Greg was the individual that was giving us the tour. He had a cold that he so graciously pass along to my dad. He was blowing his nose and shaking our hands. I was blind-sided when he told me that he was trying to sell me a time share? I spoke up quickly and told him that I was not interested. I told him that I just finished my Real Estate Program in Canada and was applying for my license when I returned home. I am well aware of time shares and how they operate. I was not interested and never wanted to purchase one. I never even inquired about one. He ignored that and continued the tour in a golf cart, then at the resort then condos, then a movie then a sit down with him, then another individual and then another. We were provided with potato chips and/or granola bar with a beverage. We were held hostage for around 4 hours. My 7 year old son kept complaining he was hungry and wanted a cheeseburger. We were all hungry and wanted to leave. At what point does sales become harassment? I did get the 110 visa card and the refund of the $50 but not back to my card, the $50 deposit was now on this prepaid card that I had no idea how to check the balance or anything. But boy was it so not worth it. A vacation day that we will never get back. By the time we got back to our hotel it was dinner time we ate and didn't even rest our bellies before heading to the pool. The water slides were closed as it was now 7:30 at night. A whole day wasted on something we were never interested in, so frustrating and disappointing. The pool was kind of warm but the air was cool, we spent around 20 mins there and went to the arcade then jammed in 10 mins at the fitness centre. What was planned as a downtime, relaxing pool day was now a last minute rush to try and do it all in the cool night air. NEVER AGAIN! I always liked Holiday Inn and tried to book with them, this horrible experience really changed my mind. #liveandlearn #victimofcircumstance

We had such a wonderful time at the Holiday Inn Waterpark celebrating my grandson’s birthday! We had so much fun, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Delaine for decorating our room and making the birthday celebration extra special. It was also so nice speaking with you. We truly appreciate everything and can’t wait to visit again!

Went to trivia with Lange and Viecka. It was a blast. Kid friendly event and they were hilarious. Great time for sure!
