Water park closed

To start we Specifically, pick this hotel because of the water park. Turns out it's closed. We stayed in a pool side room 1st floor. With the park closed the pool became the water park with Loud music starting between 930am n 11am not sure why so random. ?? The room had a small kitchen with out a stove and very used pots n pans. So for the price I'd stay at another hotel

Lakeside Diner

Andres and Douglas at Lakeside Diner were so helpful!! We appreciated their effort, friendliness and service!! We were very tired after a long day, and hungry, so the buffet was a good choice. Andres made sure we had everything we needed.

This place should be the last resort for anyone coming to Florida, I came here to spend time with my sister since she was visiting from cali, and this place is disgusting hair on the tub, ROACHES ,ROACHES,ROACHES, I can feel them crawling on me as I write this, when we were leaving on Sunday I couldn't wait to get out of here there was one bright spot we passed a gentleman in the hallway and he must've realized I was upset he said why the long face is everything OK and I commenced to tell him everything, he simply said I am so sorry please let me help you I didn't want anything except some coffee he got me free coffee and we talked more his name was Tony the engineer manager, he was the nicest most sincere pers9n I've met in a long time he made me feel calmer after talking. I hate the hotel but if you gave more staff like Tony you will be ok

I’m an absolutely upset and so frustrated. We booked our Disney vacation stay at this holiday inn because it had a waterpark and toddler area for both my older kids and our toddler. We are supposed to be checking in this Saturday 9/16/23 and come to find out the waterpark, toddler area, hot tubs , basketball courts, mini golf etc will be closed down for maintenance! None of this was explained to us when we booked the reservation in full last week. They are only compensating $20 a day when I’m paying $49+ 12.5% tax a day!! How is that even fair when more than half the pool areas are shut down?! They also won’t refund my money so I can go stay somewhere else and told me sorry about your luck because I paid in advance. There are 5 families with me going and we are going to have some very upset children when I break the news to them. It’s crazy that such a reputable company has such horrible customer service. Very very disappointed. I will never stay at a holiday inn ever again. I would highly recommend to NEVER stay there! Do yourself the favor and pay extra to stay on Disney property where they have the best customer service ever! Lesson learned. * I would like to add that the front desk told me they just found out about this maintenance “last week” and here is a review from over a month ago where the manager told her about the waterpark maintenance coming up… so they knew and still chose to lie about it .
