Pros: beautiful modern room, clean, spacious, comfortable bed, restaurant on site, short drive or walk to main strip.
Cons: room faced parking lot. Opening curtain exposed full room to cars and people walking outside.
The rooms are modern, spacious, and clean. The restaurant on the premises offer basic food but tasted good. We spent most of our time exploring the island and snorkeling so we never used the pool. But it was big and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. The only downside is the room was ground level and facing the parking lot. The bushes between the parked cars and the rooms on that side were very low. You could easily just walk right over them and access a room door. There was a small patio with a table and 2 chairs right outside the door but you’re looking directly at cars, whoever’s getting in and out of them or walking by. For privacy we had to keep the both the thick and light curtains closed. Even with the lighter white curtain, you could see outside and inside.
I suggest the Marriott put decorative fencing and larger bushes along the perimeter of the rooms facing the lot.
A short ride to the beach, but I personally don’t think that’s a con. There are beautiful beaches all over Aruba that you’d have to commute to anyway. And the Courtyard offers quick valet service to and from the beach.
I would definitely stay here again.

Daly was amazing. She went above and beyond with her services. I felt so relaxed and didn’t want the massage to be over. Daly was so sweet and kind and knowledgeable of the targeted areas. Daly made my experience amazing.
Nice Hotel for the price and location

We needed a getaway and we’re able to use our free nights and points for this hotel. It is not a “luxury” property, but it is clean, the staff is friendly and food is good. I notice a lack of staff as there is no one walking around the pool taking orders. Also, the food is good but limited. My biggest disappointment was as a good elite Marriott customer we got nothing. No upgrade, no free breakfast, no late checkout. I expect a little more as a Marriott customer. The owners need to understand what Marriott customers expect.

Staff was exceptional, everyone we interacted with was friendly and seemed to genuinely want to help with any questions/issues we had. Beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk or a quick shuttle ride away. You need to get to the beach early or late in afternoon for good shade spot, nearby palapas were much nicer than under the trees. Water at their beach spot was great.

The Courtyard is a mid-range resort located in the high-rise section of Aruba. Marriott took over what was the Mill Resort and from what I was told some of the property is still the Mill.
Anyway, a nice resort if you are looking for something basic. The biggest issue, at least for us was there are few steps and just one elevator so you have to navigate your entry/exists if you are like us and your room was quite a distance from the main check-in area. Staff is professional and there is plenty of free parking. You are next to the action in Palm Beach as within walking distance you will find shops and restaurants and the beach is about 5 minutes walking distance.
