So far this just hasn’t been a great experience. Although the staff is very friendly, we called multiple times leading up to our reservation to be sure our rooms were connected. For medical reasons I need a family member in close proximity. Not only did they brush off the requests each time we called, when we arrived they placed on separate floors. Two floors in-between us. The lack of effort to even try to adjust things was super disappointing and Unfourtunately this was our first experience with the hotel. I can tell we won’t be back already. Again, the staff is friendly, but the front desk lacks follow through with serious requests like these ones. If you need to be close to a family member please just pick a different resort. Also, when I asked if I could upgrade to preferred status, I was denied. My status as a Hyatt member was also ignored by the front desk and the bathroom has a really strong sewage smell. If I could go home or find a new resort right now I would immediately. But we have already paid. It’s just a little clunky. Also, the champagne glasses they gave us when we arrived were extremely scratched around the rim. Like visibly multiple scratches to the point I thought the glass was dirty. If you have medical needs, need to be near family or just want a top notch luxury experience—I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I did call corporate to express my concerns, but I wouldn’t even bother with booking this resort again.

I stayed at the hotel for 7 days and the hot tub never worked. When I arrived, there was underwear left behind by previous guests, the beach is only 2 meters wide and in terrible condition, and it was incredibly noisy all the time. Considering the price, I do not recommend it.

Geyler was great at the Bluewater Grill! Food was great, views were better. Geyler was wonderful. Remembered our drinks ours and names.

I had a fantastic time at the breakfast buffet, due to Enrique's vibrancy and energy. He provided an excellent service and made my experience memorable. The resort itself was really beautiful. The staff here are amazing and make the experience so much more special.

Great experience!!!! Really want to give a hugeee shout out and thank you to the super accommodating and kind Captain Carlos Yepoz. He went above and beyond for us and helped take our experience to the next level. We were here to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and my parents 45th wedding anniversary and he helped make it so special for us. Also a big thank you to the mescros: Enrique l, Jesus, Gabriel and Avenamar. I also wanted to leave a review for the wonderful cleaning staff, especially Ana de Llaves who put up banners for us saying happy anniversary or happy birthday and decorated our room with roses and a card or coffee beans. She was truly amazing! I hope you get to read this Ana- from all of us, truly thank you!!! All the staff were amazing and so hard working. We also enjoyed the during experience a lot and our kids and us truly loved how patient and talented the surf teacher was with us. All in all, was a wonderful holiday. Thank you!
