We recently returned from a 5-day stay at Dreams Vista Cancun, and it was exactly what we were looking for. If you are debating between a mega-resort and something more manageable, this is the perfect middle ground. The size of this resort is a major plus. For a 5-day trip, it is the perfect size. Unlike the massive "mega-resorts" where you spend half your time walking, we were able to explore the entire property and feel fully oriented within our timeframe. It felt intimate but still offered all the luxury amenities you’d expect. The service was excellent across the board, but Samir from the entertainment staff truly made our trip memorable. He was the surfing instructor on the surfing simulator every day. Samir took the time to guide me through the technical differences between this machine and a standard FlowRider, and his coaching got me up and running. He has an incredible amount of patience and a great attitude while trying to teach guests of all skill levels how to surf. When he wasn’t at the surf simulator, he was a key part of the entertainment team running games and activities. He was always friendly and impressively remembered everyone’s name. Thank you, Samir, for the hospitality! The Surfing Simulator (Warning: Not a FlowRider!) If you’re a fan of the FlowRider, be prepared: the simulator here is a different beast. • The Current: The water moves at least 3x faster than a standard FlowRider. • The Difficulty: Carving is very difficult due to the speed. It will humble even experienced riders (most people don't last 15 seconds). However, thanks to Samir's help, I had a great experience and was doing okay by the end of my 5 days. If you can surf this, the FlowRider is a cakewalk. • The Schedule: Adult times are limited. On weekends, they ran two 1-hour sessions (early and late afternoon). On weekdays, it was only 1 hour per day in the late afternoon. Dining & Amenities • Food: Overall, the food was good to excellent. We tried the Italian, Mexican, Blue Water, and the World Café, and were very satisfied with the quality. • Facilities: Everything felt clean, modern, and up to date. • Pool vs. Beach: The pool area is great, though you do need to get there early to secure a seat. The beach area is nice, but during our stay, it was quite windy and the water was wavy, so we didn't get to take out the Hobbie Cat.

Our family had a great vacation to Dreams Vista. The staff were amazing and always so friendly. Zeuz made sure we were out having fun.

Super fun, attentive staff, great poolside, 24 hr room service! Great food and beverages. Great excursion choices like parasailing, snorkelling and golf!

Beautiful resort, great for families Staff is all very nice and friendly and we had a particularly great experience from bartender Roberto who was a super great guy and very funny. Would recommend for anyone!

Great food and friendly staff. No beach and poor pool. The fact that it is a building, when you want to go to the room you need to wait long line to get the elevator for the 16 floor building
