Great amenities for the price and location!

Kevin B (Chicago, Illinois) on Mar 26, 2026

Very clean rooms with friendly staff. They always have a smile on their face and eager to assist. The location has a 24 hour fitness center with a good variety of equipment from a stair master to ellipticals and weightlifting machines. One downside I would advise others is their balcony’s are not very soundproof so if your looking to crash early expect some noise coming from outside.

Our trip was great from the start and that is because of the welcoming customer service of Celeste. She greeted us and got us on the right start. The accommodations was great and the location is perfect.

Another Wonderful Stay

haileythegolden (Edmonton, Canada) on Mar 16, 2026

Another great stay. My wife and I stayed 18 nights on our annual visit. The hotel is across the street from the beach with many restaurants and markets close by. We were on the 25 floor with an ocean view in the tower. The only complaint is the elevators can be slow, congested or broken down. The views on the higher floors are wonderful. We had a king bed with tub shower combination. The strength of the hotel are the wonderful staff. I want to thank and acknowledge some of the great staff. Rocky and Ric who serve us breakfast at the splash bar every morning. Winnie and Nicole and the bar during lunch and evening, these two ladies are exceptional. Carlos at the pool brings a smile and enthusiasm each day. The hotel occupancy on this visit was around 95 -100 % which made access to pool chairs, breakfast, and access to the splash bar more difficult than previous years.

Great location

brbuzz1 (Los Angeles, California) on Mar 15, 2026

GREAT LOCATION. Rooms clean and nice balcony in renovated tower with view of ocean. We stayed for a week, even two days of cyclone. This Hotel needed better emergency preparedness equipment. No power to include no power for elevators and could not walk 28 floors. They needed to pass out flashlights. We enjoyed the week anyway.

A wonderful stay

Alan F on Mar 07, 2026

My wife and I recently stayed at the Princess Kaiulani Hotel at Waikiki for six nights. We arrived early on the first day, as we were coming from a cruise, so we had to wait for our room to be ready. We left our luggage in the lobby. it was placed near the front desk and literally guarded. When we did check in, we were amazed to learn we were upgraded to a higher floor in the tower than we expected, and had a tremendous view of the coastline, and the inland environs. Our room was great, and we were surprised that it greeted us with folded swan towels, rose petals, some treats, and a card celebrating our 50th anniversary. We had some plans in place, but needed some help, so we went to the concierge, Kalani, for advice. He helped us book a number of activities including Star of Honolulu dinner cruise, Kualoa Ranch, Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, Hanauma Bay, and some others. Kalani always greeted us with a large smile, and always got us through our many questions. We felt he was genuinely interested in us having the best trip we could. The restaurant at the hotel was simple, but quite good, and the setting, by the swimming pool made it very relaxing. At nights there was live music at the bar, and it always added to the setting. Even though the hotel is pretty much surrounded by shopping, I always felt it was a haven from the crowds. Our whole experience was pretty great, but, probably for me, the best part of the Princess Kaiulani was the staff we met. Everyone we encountered, was kind, friendly, and always had time for a few words. We would be glad to stay there again.
