This was supposed to be an uograde?

Travelchick1020 (Springfield, MO) on Jan 22, 2023

We recently stayed for three nights in two rooms at Nobu Hotel celebrating my son's birthday. A few days before our arrival with original rooms reserved in the Julius Tower, I was informed we were complimentary upgraded. I was unsure, so I spoke with the hotel direct and was told this was the most recently renovated area of Caesar's, so decided to proceed. I will say upon arrival, it was nice to have the private check-in, and this tower is located in a very convenient location. However, we encountered customer service issues basically at every turn and the rooms just aren't that nice. If I had actually paid the normal rate for these rooms, I would have been very upset. Even though the renovations are the "most" recent, they are not recent enough...just a lot of lipstick on a pig. Overall, I actually thought Caesar's has declined significantly since our last visit in 2017. We had such a great time on that trip and loved the hotel so much (Augustus Tower), we decided to return for this one. Everything is just looking worn, the gambling stinks there and the prices for food and drinks are way overpriced. I will say we really enjoyed Absinthe in the big top tent (raunchy but hilarious with talented performers), the Sunday Bacchanal Buffet was excellent (and actual reasonably priced for everything you get but make a reservation), and my son's birthday dinner at Hell's Kitchen. However, I will never stay at Caesar's Palace again after this trip. Just not the place anymore.

Great stay

Great hotel stay. The location in Caesars is really nice. It's close to the entrance and the buffet. It's very central. The rooms are kind of dark though. Everything else was great. We requested extra towels and lots were delivered. We never really waited long for the elevators too.

Nice but watch out for hidden fees

mikemQ6579DO (Georgetown, Texas) on Jan 12, 2023

Great hotel...great staff. They do hit you with a $50+ per night "resort fee" that is buried pretty deep in the details. This fee is for internet, local calls and gym access...whether you use them or not. They would not waive, Customer service was rude. All that aside...hotel was amazing! Would go back, but be sure factor "resort fees" into cost.

Will never return

Front staff and room layout/decor were very nice. Unfortunately thats where the magic ended. Room was way too hot and uncomfortable (do I need to pay extra for a thermostat or something?). Can't say for sure, but it definitely felt like there were only single pane windows, which meant my wife and I had the luxury of hearing sirens throughout the night nice and clear. Left a tip for the cleaning staff and overheard her say, "Only this much? What a joke" as we were heading toward the elevator. That part was probably the most shocking and unfortunate, which kinda shows you how ungrateful the establishment is for patronage. Fiji water is $6.90, which you will probably drink unless you like the tap water. No complimentary anything. Way overpriced. Poor experience for my first time at a Caesar's property. Have a little self respect and stay somewhere better. My loss is your gain.

5 Star Stay!

Breezy8219 (Buffalo, New York) on Jan 06, 2023

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my stay at Nobu Hotel! I had stayed at the Bellagio the night before, and the Nobu wowed me in ways that Bellagio was meh. I loved the Japanese themed rooms. Front Desk Agents were attentive and very friendly. Shout-out to Daniel for his guest service! The Front Desk of Nobu is closer to the Self Park garage than the regular Caesar’s Front Desk (less walking is a plus!)
