Angelo’s Mazatlan

Jenna B on Feb 26, 2026

We had a great experience at Angelo’s Mazatlan thanks to Alfonso Tostado. Alfonso was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was very nice, relaxed and inviting and the food was excellent. The catch of the day was the best we’ve had. Highly recommend asking for Alfonso if you’re dining here!

Exceptional Service at Pueblo Bonito’s Angelo’s

Selene S on Feb 19, 2026

We had an incredible stay at Pueblo Bonito! From the moment we arrived, the property was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The views, the atmosphere, and the overall experience truly made our trip memorable. A special highlight was dining at Angelo’s restaurant. The service from Alfonso Tostado and Alejandro Gallardo was absolutely top notch. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, the kind of service that elevates a great meal into an unforgettable experience. They anticipated our needs, made thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel completely taken care of. Thank you to the entire Pueblo Bonito team for such a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Great experience at Pueblo Bonito

Michael F on Feb 18, 2026

I have been going to Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan for over 15 years and they never disappoint. The front desk is exceptional, especially Patty, Sofia, and Carlos. They have great customer service and I look forward to seeing them every year. Francisco and Raul are great bell-hops. On the beach and Pool, Oscar , Noe, and Juan are very efficient and fast. At the Las Palomas, Miguel is the best waiter for breakfast. He fills my coffee every 5 minutes. He gets me fresh bacon and my friend eggs ranchero. He is always nice and gives great customer service. I will always go to Pueblo Bonito every year! Thank you Pueblo Bonito.

Not worth the money.

This is not a five star resort, maybe 20 years ago when it was built but needs a major upgrade. Way overpriced. The grounds around the hotel are amazing well taken care of. This is a timeshare resort and because of that you are constantly having to get scanned to make sure you are an all inclusive guest. Buffet is not open for lunch, food not that great anyways. Odd thing all restaurants do is no salt and pepper shakers on the table, you have to ask your already busy waiter and by the time you get the shakers you have finished and ready to leave. We were told by our Nexus bus guide not to drink the water, but they don’t even put water in the room. The beach is not swimable, very rocky, very difficult to even get onto the beach as old access was destroyed and not rebuilt, impossible if you have any mobility issues. Note about Sunday brunch at the buffet, get in and out early as all local timeshare owners come, they also take over 30% of pool chairs, all reserved with white towels and then never show up for the day, it was quite when we were there but would be very annoying if resort was full.

Not what we expected. Mediocre.

Krystin S (Chicago, Illinois) on Feb 14, 2026

We are in our 40s and took a trip without our kids. We originally booked the sister resort at Emerald Bay (EB) - it is super old, outdated and really sad feeling. They graciously allowed us to move to PB Mazatlán. While it was a much better experience than EB, it was just okay. It was renovated, but seems more like "patched up." Definitely not a 5 star resort - more like 3. The mattress was probably the worst part. You can feel the springs - our backs were killing us. Antonio at the pool was wonderful but the drinks were very watered down, as they were all over the resort. The food at the hotel was mediocre. We were looking for more of an upscale, romantic getaway and this is not it. The overall vibe of the area is older Americans. We love that for them! Just not what we expected. Will not be back. If you go, bring a theragun for your back! You'll need it!
