We stayed here from 24th Dec. 24- Jan.8th 25. The property is very basic. The room 1404 smelt like pee,had to get the house keeper to wipe floor beside the bed. That took 7 days in to be done, the shower in the room is poorly designed there was always a pool of water on the floor and in the shower.Always an issue with towels. The women in the restaurant are rude most of them apart from the Montego side of the resort. They seem more welcoming no matter the skin color. Seems like our Jamaican people think only light skinned foreigners give tips. The 2 weeks I was there I gave more tips than anyone I saw. They are so nice and cozy with certain nationalities but not their own kind. Oh and the food was almost always cold I personally turned up some of the warmers. What would have been smart is to have a couple microwaves available. Food was very repetitive. I got boiled dumplings maybe twice out of the 15 days I stayed here I had to go to the Montego side of the resort mostly for my dinner,lunch and breakfast where I got dumplings..lol or out on the road. The water for coffee and tea is not boiled water but tap water heated up in water and coffee warmers that can't be good. The bartenders were always nice. To sum it up great location nice beach a few amenities,cold food, ok rooms with pool and ocean views.

My family and I usually travel to Caribbean countries to spend New Year’s Eve together. This time we stayed in this hotel. Service was kinda bad, it’s our worst (in attention) so far, they don’t change your towels, they don’t prepare the table on time, so you go, serve your food and then no forks/knife to eat. I will say there are exceptions, Wayne (baywatch) he was the best. Reception guy was always helpful and I will say we spent a good time but in general but attention was pretty bad -maybe because we were latins, I don’t know- it was awful. I believe that is a general thing in their culture, so maybe a little training from the hotel will help. We saw this same behavior in the street stores around. We stayed 8 days and whenever I left towels on the floor, they will take them but never return new ones so there was one time we had to go to other rooms (where my familia was) to ask for some, even at the end we were using beach towels. I know as latins we don’t come from a tip culture but we have learn to do it when you feel attended, but this wasn’t the case. Worst part of the hotel was the snack bar, man don’t go there, people will look at you, will see your arm up and nothing happens, you will starve there waiting for some food! On the other part: Beaches are nice, pretty safe! Beds and pillows were super comfortable Drinks are served pretty much all day long Coffee area was the best attention Local cuisine was awesome but you should go early, because for main dishes there is no refill, when is gone is gone!
