In the heart of Montreal's thriving shopping and business district you will find Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth - a 1960s classic hotel that was transformed into a contemporary lifestyle space, complete with modern technologies and amenities.

Just a brutal experience throughout our stay and considering its a Fairmont and one of its iconic properties was shocked at the service.
Only good thing was the large suite that we stayed at.
Front desk, y, in room dining, operators all just need basic training on how to conduct and treat and speak to guests!
Towels were not changed, took a hour to get any room service. Just pathetic
Good location but service needs a lot of improvement

We stayed here for a major international conference. I believe majority of the hotel was conference-goers. The location is great, close to many restaurants and landmarks. The convention center is a 10-15 minute walk.
The rooms are great for solo business travelers, but a bit cramped for couples. The service was inconsistent through our 7-night stay. We did not get all the bathroom toiletries during the first few days, but only on the last two days. I guess the staff were overwhelmed with a full hotel. The a/c couldn't keep up with the Montreal heat and it never felt like the room was cool enough. I called the front desk and was told that's the lowest the temperature goes. However, it didn't feel cool enough. The restaurant Rosely's had decent food and good wine and cocktails.
Overall, the stay was ok and it provided a convenient venue for the conference. I still prefer to stay at either the Westin or the Intercontinental if I have a choice.
