Fantastic All-inclusive Experience

My wife and I recently got back from Sandals Royal Bahamian and it was an all-time great experience. We came for a friend's wedding and stayed for 5 nights, and wish we could've stayed for more. We chose to splurge a bit for the Butler Elite level room since it was our anniversary as well. We can say we definitely got our money's worth. It starts with being picked up in a private car and taken on a nice air-conditioned ride to the resort. The friendly staff welcomes you home when you arrive. With the Butler Elite service, you're taken to their office and checked-in privately. You then receive a nice glass of champagne and your butler phone. Each person has a team of 2-3 butlers that work in shifts and respond to your calls or texts. Our butlers were Junior and Doreen. They were a dynamic duo who really made our vacation an amazing experience. They went above and beyond individually, to give us an unforgettable experience. We met Junior first and he gave us an informative tour of the resort, while escorting us to our room. Your bags are brought up for you from the car, regardless of what room you have. We were greeted with a cheese plate and bottle of champagne in our room, with some rose peddles spread around the table and bed areas. We stayed in the West Bay Oceanview One Bedroom Butler Suite. The room was enormous. You walk into a large living room/bar area, with a large L-shaped sectional, television, and access to the balcony. The bedroom was a king sized bed, with a love seat couch and balcony access as well. The his and hers sinks were especially nice in the bathroom. The room was nice and cool with the a/c on when we arrived and was comfortable the entire time we were there. Both Junior and Doreen were extremely attentive our entire trip. Whenever we would see them around the resort, they always stopped to chat with us to see how we were doing. Always asking if we need anything, or if there was anything they could do. My wife was able to order coffee to the room in the morning every day, which was an added perk for her. They also were able to reserve chairs for us at the pools, which include a cooler filled with beverages of your choice. They also came around to ask if we would like any lunch while we were poolside, so we ordered personal pies from Tesoro. Each morning they text you the drink of the day and a list of activities at the resort, which was much appreciated. Since we were there with a wedding party and my wife was the maid of honor, she was able to have Junior arrange some food and champagne for the bride. He also helped us arrange a family and friends dinner for the bride on our first night. The bride and groom could not stop telling us how much they appreciated his help. Doreen went above and beyond to surprise my wife and I for our anniversary. Our room was romantically decorated after we returned from our dinner. She included a plate of chocolate covered strawberries, a piece of rich chocolate cake, and a bottle of champagne. As for the restaurants, we ate at Gordon's, Soy and Kimonos for dinner. Gordon's Bahamian chowder was fantastic and the Surf and Turf was cooked to perfection. Kimonos was possibly some of the best hibachi I have ever had and our entire group agreed. The sake specialty drink was delicious as well. The Sushi at Soy was prepared perfectly. I highly recommend Seared Tuna Tataki roll, which is their signature roll. Every night the resort has some sort of activity or live entertainment. We enjoyed the silent disco and live music most of all. The piano bar is also a great time in the late evening or heading over to The Queens Pearl. From start to finish our trip was an amazing experience provided to us by the staff at the Royal Bahamian. Shout out to Ricardo, our awesome driver on the way back to the airport.

Everything about this resort is absolutely incredible! The Playmakers are SO fun and make everyday a party. Richshan Pitt, Giovani, Shelton, Justin, James, and Zoey! They treat you like you have known them forever and really made our trip so much fun.
