Great family experience!

Ron S on Oct 03, 2024

Great stay. Wonderful service. Great rooms. Very clean. The onsite restaurant was ok and a bit overpriced. Bar food was really good. Not easy to get to the park. Local transit is undependable at best. We used Uber to get there, where it was super hot during our stay. Not a bad walk if not 110 F :)

Nice suit with very comfortable bedding .

The hotel has excellent location. It is a 5 minute walk from the Anaheim convention center. Also walking distance to Disneyworld. It has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a restaurant. The reception people were great, professional, helpful, ready to assist. On arrival and departure we got ?? cookies!!! How not to love a hotel which greets guests with cookies. We were able to pay discounted rates for parking right in front of the hotel. Our suite was very pleasant. Nice bedroom with TV, a chest of drawers, a closet and a safe. The safe needed a new battery but they changed it quickly. The furniture in the sitting room was quite dated, especially the sofa- but fully functional. The room has a fridge and a coffee station. It lacked the supplies every day . I had to ask for refills and still didn’t receive.the housekeeping would leave 1 coffee creamer for 2 people for example. For myself I asked for a tea bag and got it only one on 1 out of 5 days we spent there. The housekeeping staff overall did substandard job… Water bottles which in most hotels of the world tend to be free nowadays were $2.75. The bathroom supplies were basic. I liked the large size bottles. The bathroom did not have a fan or night light. On a couple of occasions there was acidic smell from the toilet. The walls allowed for noise from the adjacent rooms to penetrate. The bedding was very comfortable. Overall it is a good hotel and it was convenient for us during the conference.

Lost my business

Pete S on Sep 04, 2024

Management at this hotel is terrible. They convinced me to switch my loyalty to Marriott. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Why do they always call me asking when I am going to arrive? No other hotel does that. My business is going down the road after how I was treated.

Aug 2024 Construction

Christina G (Vacaville, California) on Sep 03, 2024

We added an extra night to our Disneyland vacation but were unable to book the same hotel, so decided to stay here. We checked in at the end of the night. Upon arrival, the hotel has music blasting from outdoor speakers, this didn't bother me, but I thought it was unique. There was also a sign in the front that said "No loading or Unloading," which did bother me, as we have 4 children and lots of bags, so it was annoying to have to go park the car first and then lug everything to the room at midnight. Once in the room, I noticed a letter on the desk that informed me that there was construction happening in the hotel, between the hours of 1pm-6pm. Our checkout time was 12pm, so I wasn't worried about it. The room was spacious, however our bed made a horrible squeaking sound. At 9am we were all startled by the sounds of drills in the wall next to us and the sound of cutting wood. I did call to the front desk to ask about the construction that was not supposed to start til 1pm, and the receptionist said she was unaware that the crew was even there that day (Saturday). The loud sounds continued and I never received a follow-up call. We wont be staying here again, there are plenty hotels in the area that allow you to unload in the front and wont wake you at 9am with construction noise.

Family Vacation

jcatts (Mont Belvieu, Texas) on Aug 05, 2024

Went on a family vacation with my 3 grown kids, and grandkids usually don't have an issue staying at this hotel but this time it didn't meet my standards. We had flown in late my son went to try to check in after 3 and they said the rooms were still being made to be ready. After trying to check-in for over about 35 minutes I asked to speak to the manager who then said yes that was a problem with the rooms they were still drying the carpet, but he would not tell me what was going on. I asked if they had an upgrade since my rooms are ready and he said at this time no. That he would be able to provide me with rooms like the ones that weren't ready yet. I had a chance to speak with the hotel manager later that week and told him of my disappointment. I also was having a package sent to the hotel and while at one of the parks I tried to call the hotel front desk several times and no one answered which was very frustrating because I didn't want the package to get refused. The hotel is usually good and really enjoy staying here it's reasonable and it's driving distance to many places. I did book 2 rooms; I am a Hilton honors member, so I was expecting a little more. The hotel is in a desperate need of upgrade, I would recommend getting rid of the tub shower combo and going to a standup shower only. On my profile does say foam pillows and of course I had to call down to housekeeping and get those. The manager did tell me that this hotel was slated to get an upgrade soon, there under new management and I hope that things do change because I would like to stay back here again.
