If I could rate this hotel zero stars I would. I’m visiting from the SF Bay Area and attending a wedding this weekend. I had booked two nights in advance and the reservation was fully paid. Today, I caught some traffic on the I-5, so I called the hotel and explained I would be doing a late check-in. The lady on the phone said no problem as long as I checked in before 2am. After a long 8hr drive, I walked up to the front desk and was casually told that the hotel could not accommodate my reservation (sorry!). No explanation provided. I pressed the guy at the front desk and he gives me some bs excuse that they were short staffed and the room just wasn’t ready. No one mentioned anything when I called earlier. I have an IHG membership but no attempt was made to find alternative accommodation at any of the many sister hotels from this chain in the vicinity. I contacted customer care but (unsurprisingly) they were equally incompetent and unable to provide accommodation options despite confirming availability at their other properties. Instead, I was offered a half-assed apology and some complimentary reward points (-_-), which they seem to think is an appropriate solution for a family traveling with kids that was effectively left stranded in the middle of the night. I will never book with Holiday Inn or any IHG partners again.

Pros: The hotel was good for us since it was a 10 minute walk to the Disney parking garages where we could go through security and take the tram in to the parks. Front desk staff were polite. We were upgraded to a suite, so we had lots of space for us and our two kids. Microwave and fridge in the room were great so we could buy some breakfast items to eat before heading to Disney. Our boys liked the splash pad area on check in day. Cons: our room was not very clean. I don’t think anything more than a basic wipe down, sheet change, and quick vacuum have been done in this room for YEARS. There was a layer of dust/dirt that we could visibly see along all the baseboards and carpet edges. A deep clean of our room, and likely many others, is desperately needed. Overall the part of the hotel we were in seemed run down and dated. We really didn’t spend hardly any time in the hotel, and the beds and bathroom and kitchen were clean, so we just went with it. Lastly, every single day, house keeping gave us fewer and fewer bathroom towels. It was bizarre. We started with 4, then got 3, then 2 and no wash clothes or hand towels. We had to call every day for more towels to be sent up so we could shower before bed.

Great hotel. Could see the Disney fireworks from my window.

We are arriving at the hotel, I booked 1 suite with 2 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa bed. The room looks old and the worst part is that it only has 1 bathroom, we are 7 people and only 1 bathroom? It is not worth the price. It was the first and last time we came to this hotel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT My IHG membership was useless for getting a good room Another point to say that this is the worst hotel in the area, they do not clean the room, even though they charge for the full room with cleaning service included. ONCE AGAIN, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AND I WILL SEND ALL THESE COMMENTS TO IHG

Excellent atmosphere very clean along with nice service .
