Absolutely a top rate experience!

Honestly, I have not been not been impressed with the Westin brand, and was not excited about our stay at this hotel. I am happy to report I was VERY wrong, and I couldn't have been more blown away. It has been a long time since we have had such a fantastic experience at a hotel. Every staff person we encountered was top-notch and professional, and I noted that everyone greeted us warmly when we encountered them while walking around the property. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well accommodated. What a pleasure it was to be greeted so warmly by William every morning in the lounge. He is a gem! I have found my new favorite place to stay in Southern California. See you soon!

Just WoW!

Just wow! As a frequent travelers, my family and I are not easily impressed. We have stayed at some really fancy locations and the Westin Anaheim just exceeded all our expecations. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgable. We booked our stay as a weekend Disney trip and we were thoroughly impressed with the level of service, care, and the attention given to me and my family. The front desk is very helpful and really made us feel very welcome. We were greeted by Samantha Keehn who personally made sure that were comfortable and that all our needs were met. William at the club lounge was a superstar. William has the kind of personality that just makes you feel warm inside. He was able to give us so much information about the area and gave us the best tips on how we could enjoy our stay even more. We were also impressed with the housekeeping staff as the attention to detail given to the room and our personal belongings was just impecable. We walked in our room as it was in the middle of being refreshed and the housekeeper kindly ask me to swipe my room key to make sure that it was indeed our room. This seems such a small thing to do, but if you travel enough, you would definitely appreciate how important this is. The facility is extremely well kept and all the staff had smiles on their faces. You can definitely tell that the people that work their truly wanted to be there. This speaks volumes on how management treats their associates which then trickles down to the overall excellent guest experience. We will without a doubt definitely be staying here again! Already planning the next trip!

Reservation and customer service nonexistant for me

I had booked a reservation through the Marriott Bonvoy site for a 2 night stay in a 2 bed room. I arrived late at night to the hotel but had called ahead to let them know I would be late. Upon arrival I was helped by the front desk lady (I am omitting names in this post) and after asking for my ID+card she confirmed my reservation for the 2 bed room, 2 nights and said she would charge the entire stay hold due to my payment method. Right after, she excused herself and went to speak to someone behind a wall. She then returned and let me know that my room would be "upgraded" to a King size bed room and for the second night I would have to switch rooms, at the same price I was being charged. I was surprised and let her know that's not what my reservation was and that wouldn't work me. She then went to speak to the person behind the wall again and returned to tell me that it was the only option. I let her know it was misleading for her to confirm my reservation, charge me then change course. I found out the person she was speaking to was the overnight manager which she never exhibited any customer service to come over and speak to me directly or follow through with the Marriott Ultimate Reservation Guarantee. There was no offer to assist me in finding a 2 bed room at a nearby Marriott sister hotel. She did however get up, go somewhere and returned to her desk behind the wall not once acknowledging me. It was very late at night at 2 a.m. and I could not book another hotel online as only the following night was available as an option due to the time. I let the front desk lady know I would not be staying and wanted to confirm I would be refunded. She then gave me a receipt that showed two transactions and I left the property to drive home. I am currently still waiting a follow up after I contacted Marriott Bonvoy and the case was forwarded to the hotel for my charges and experience. I felt and still feel very dismissed and have never experienced something like this incident at any hotel with a booking. If you book here, I would suggest checking your reservation will be honored before stepping foot inside.

Great experience Westin Anaheim Hotel

I travel extensively for business. I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Westin Anaheim Hotel/Resort. Staying in dozens of hotels each year I have the opportunity to experience all levels of service and the witness first hand the condition of so many hotels. This hotel was among the top hotels I have stayed at in Southern California. The location (right across the street from Disneyland) is great for families using the park. From a business perspective it is also a great location. Close to freeways, dozens of restaurants, and local entertainment. The rooms are extremely clean. The lobby is very relaxing and inviting. Most importantly, the staff was tremendous. From the valets out front to the front desk, concierge and housekeeping everyone has a smile on their face. They are professional, respectful and just....nice. One person in particular that was very helpful was Julia Hoang. She was fantastic. I will be staying at this hotel for all of my future trips to the area. I strongly recommend this resort. It is a 10 out of 10!

Best Disneyland Hotel!

This hotel from start to finish was amazing! Linda checked us in and was SO accommodating. She gave us the 411 about the area and hotel. We are Marriott reward members so we had the club level which had great views of the fireworks. We were on the fourth floor and could also see the fireworks great from our room. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was really impressed because I forgot my sandals for the pool and they offered slippers in the room which I wore to the pool each day. The hotel was very clean and well taken care of. It’s a beautiful property. We also had appetizers at the rooftop bar which has spectacular views of the city and a Disneyland. Z was our bartender and made my dad’s birthday extra special. I highly recommend this hotel to go to Disneyland or if staying in the area. We have a two year old and it is only about a 10- 15 minute walk to Disney. We could do Disneyland in the morning and the pool in the afternoon. We had great pool service with a full food menu and drinks. The rooms are very large and have a lot of space and well designed. Not to mention the beautiful bathrooms. The overhead rain showers is amazing. I really liked how you could just send a quick text to the valet and they bring your car up without having to call or wait for someone to answer the phone. It’s a great system they offer. We will definitely be back to the Westin in Anaheim for our next Disney family vacation.
