Here are all the problems with had with our stay 1. We had 3 rooms booked and I called and texted in advanced and asked for rooms close together with baby cribs in each room with as soon as possible check in. I explained several times, we were travelling with very young children to need to be fed, changed and napped. We got to the hotel at 1:30 PM on Sunday and only 1 room was available. Another room was given to us at 3:15 PM and the last one was given to us at 4:30 PM even though guaranteed check-in time is 4. Not a single of the rooms had a crib like we asked and when we called in to get the cribs sent us, they said they only had 2 left and 1 of them wa not even a crib but more of a pack n Play making a very bad choice to sleeping a 2 year old. 2. one of the rooms had a broken refrigerator and and when we called to get it changed, they said, they don't have another one. We had young children who need their milk refrigerated. Again something so basic that the hotel failed on. 3. The phone system was horrible. Everytime we tried to call front desk to guest services, you had to go through the automated computer system that was horrible to work with. When we clicked Bell Desk, the line was dead and didn't work. 4. Although I was given a message you guys are doing construction during this time, we were not told, we would actually be hearing banging and work being done right above our room on a sunday. We called down to front desk and were told the constructions, banging and noise would stop but it resumed the next day on Monday Presidents day. This is really not acceptable and had we known this is the kind of hotel we were going, I would had booked somewhere else.

Lost jacket in hotel room

I accidentally left my white jacket in the hotel room when I checked out. A few hours later, upon realizing my mistake, I returned to the hotel and inquired at the front desk if it had been found. Unfortunately, they informed me that they had not come across it. I am quite certain that I left it on the bed in my haste to leave, especially since the cleaning staff were waiting outside at the time.

LOTS of construction noice

This property doesn’t live up to Hyatt standards but maybe after construction is finished it hopefully will. We were placed in a room with construction happening right above us. Sounded like all around us to be honest. Banging, sawing and drilling. Construction from 9-5. Staff had no idea exactly where construction was happening to place people away from the noice. No upgrade offered, just offered a room in a worse location than what we had. No points offered either, but did comp us free parking for the headache. No hot tubs in family area for kids to use to warm up. Although pools are warm a hot tub would be ideal since it’s in the 60s currently. Kids loved the water slides and lazy river. Room was pretty beat up and just not done nicely (things installed crooked). Comfy Hyatt beds as expected. Just not worth it and should have used my Marriott points for JW. I’d steer clear at least until construction is complete.

Customer Service is Back!

Chile I had to dust off my old password just to write a review on my wonderful experience at this resort. I’m an 80’s baby and it seems as if the hospitality industry is going in the wrong direction. While this hotel seems a bit dated customer service more than made up for minor preferences. Staying at this resort was a breath of fresh air. I salute management because the level of care was consistent in EVERY interaction I had with the staff. Check in I got lost going from place to place trying to find the lobby to the hotel. One second I was at the golf portion. Another minute my directions sent me down the road. ?? By the time I met up with my group waiting in the lobby I was frazzled. To ensure I made it to the guest parking lot without incident, one of the valet guys hopped in a cart and had me follow him. Breakfast There was a makeshift restaurant for breakfast at the moment. When I tell you these folks anticipated my every need. There was a gentleman and woman there who were on it! I kind of felt like a princess. The Bar The bar area gives out a little appetizer during happy hour. BABY!! Let me tell you how good this polenta thingy in a cup was. Then another day they gave out olive tapenade with some crème and prosciutto in a cup. SO GOOD. The Chef came out and personally distributed them and talked about the ingredients. The gentleman making the drinks was very talented and just a sweetheart. My tire! I was driving out to Joshua Tree and one of the tires in my rental was alarmingly low. I barely noticed the light. I was about to have a meltdown without my husband. Don’t judge me y’all. I casually mentioned it to RENE. My problem was solved in 5 minutes flat. He took my car to the resort service area and put air in all of the tires for me himself. His offer, I was just asking what gas station I could go to. I didn’t have to go get change, find a gas station at all. I just stood there and next thing I know he’s pulling back up with the problem solved. He even gave me instructions on when to check and what to do next. This gave me so much PEACE. The pool The lazy river is heated with a STRONG current. You would do yourself a disservice by not grabbing a tube and going around a few times. I was the ONLY person in there. I WILL be back. This was so relaxing.

Does not live up to Hyatt’s standards

Except for the beautiful settings of this hotel, this facility is more like a nice motel on a road trip. We were looking forward to spending time in a Hyatt Resort, but the hotel was more like a motel along the highway…
