Run down property with potential to be great.

Not at all up to standards of a Renaissance, this a very run down hotel that is old and tired. We are the highest level of Marriott and almost exclusively stay in the Marriott family of hotels and this was one of the most run down. It has excellent potential with great views, and a nice pool, and so close to downtown Palm Springs. The lobby floors are all cracked, and the carpets are old and dingy. The beds are terrible, and saggy, makes me wonder if they are the original beds when the hotel first opened?? The sofa in the room was dirty. Faucet was old and loose in the bathroom, old bathtub vs walk in shower, air conditioning didn't work half the time. All in all, we were very disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience at the Renaissance hotel in Palm Springs. The staff there was incredible, from the time I stepped into the hotel. They went above and beyond in making sure, we had a great stay. Gordie the concierge, Erin and the entire staff took great care of us. The food was great! I really enjoyed my stay there.
Great weekend get away hotel..room and pool fabulous!

Great hotel. Large clean room, soft sheets. Great lobby. Just quick weekend get away. Dinner at Spagos a must always. 6-8pm. Pool vibe was fun, great drinks. Must pay for parking. Nice pool and music. Great lobby. Staff was great. Close to everything. Highway 101 sops and restaurants walking distance. Must go to Sherman’s for breakfast,lunch and dinner everything vis amazing. Stayed at Hilton on strip their pool area was horrendous. Renaissance was outstanding room, grounds, music and pool. Def returning for more shopping & tram ride.
Unprofessional management

They have unprofessional , unorganized management , and so rude, acting like stupid . They cancel paid reservation without notice to me. I asked them why you cancel my reservation? We stayed in the car till morning , until I find another hotel .

I want to give a special shout out to Gordie. He went out of his way to take care of me, he went to the back and got me a lunch which was his. I appreciate folks like him so much. Just wanted to share how lucky Renaissance is to have an employee like him
