Best location and best employees! Alejandro is our favorite, he has served us at the pool for many of our trips. Carlos and Miguel and Emilio are awesome. Oliver is so kind. Joel is hilarious. 10/10 recommend and we will for sure be coming back.

I stayed in The Preferred Club Section and it so worth the price! The staff are outstanding and the special amenities are luxurious! The resort is fabulous with great pools and top-notch restaurants! This is an all-inclusive vacation that is a must on your bucket list!

Seriously one of the best experiences! Felt very welcomed from beginning to end. Staff was so friendly and it felt like we were at home. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. Food options were great at most restaurants. I enjoyed all the activities that were offered and the spa was one the best things hands down!! I had my wedding here and I can’t thank Karla, our wedding planner, enough for making it so beautiful and magical. Will most definitely be coming back.

We stayed for seven nights in Dreams in late April 2026 with our son, daughter in law and 5 year old grandson; we selected the preferred club package. Some of the experiences were positive and some were less than positive. Overall, we enjoyed the week we spent there. Let’s talk positive first: • the room was perfect, it was large, clean with a comfortable king size bed, a balcony with a view of the resort and the ocean. • other than the nightly entertainment, the resort was quiet • for the most part the food was very good and because we were in the preferred club food was usually available in our lobby • the Italian restaurant was our favourite followed by the Mexican restaurant. The buffet always provided a fantastic selection that could please anyone. The breakfast buffet was my favourite. Castaways was our least favourite and the Japanese dinner show was disappointing. • the pools were clean and warm • the staff were friendly, cooperative and service oriented Now for the negative. None of what I consider negatives are major but when paying a few hundred dollars per day things should run smoother than they did during our week there. • we were not allowed to carry our own bags from the check in desk to our room. We had to be taken to our room by our butler and them call to have the bags delivered. By doing that we had to tip the butler and the person who delivered our bags • as soon as we checked in we were asked to join an employee at the table behind the lobby. We thought it was going to be an explanation and overview of the resort. Instead it was a high pressure sales pitch to buy tours etc. It was almost 30 minutes long and very annoying. • We were accosted by the same individual later in the week and pressured to sign to join a breakfast presentation. • management of the chairs by the pools is non existent. To reserve a chair it is necessary to go down to the pool by 0730 and place a towel and a piece of clothing on the chair you want to reserve. Apparently they have a rule if a chair is left empty for 30 minutes staff will remove the towel from the chair to free it up for another guest. That does not happen! • Reserving a place at the Japanese restaurant dinner show is archaic. It is necessary to wait at the concierge desk until 10:00 am on the day you want to go to get a reservation. We waited longer in line to get a reservation than the actual dinner itself. It was a disappointing evening. • One of the male attendants at the top of the water slide would not allow adults to use the slide even though I was with my grandson In my opinion tipping is out of control at Dreams. I would prefer to see the price increased by a couple of hundred dollars and do away with tipping altogether. I wonder if the tips are pooled. I have been to 44 countries on 6 continents and this is my first all inclusive. No reflection on Dreams but I prefer independent travel and will likely not stay in an all inclusive again.

Awesome experience from arrival (guava marg and cold towel) to departure (allowed us to use facilities after check out until our flight). Staff were excellent, facilities were very nice and food better than expected. Definitely plan on going back!
