Time of our lives!

We traveled here for my brother and new sister-in-law's wedding, and what an incredible time we had! The weather was absolutely perfect—except for the good luck rain on the wedding night! Alejandro made sure our drinks were always full, and the rest of the staff was amazing as well—Claudio, Alphonso, Aurelio, Jose, Noah, Angel, Adriana (and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone). Every one of them helped make our week unforgettable. A special shout-out to Carlos—what an incredible guy! Whether he was leading water aerobics, teaching daily Spanish lessons, or hosting karaoke, he made every day even more enjoyable. He also had an amazing sense of humor. One day I told him, "¡Yo seré tu suegro!" (He even taught me how to say it in Spanish!) I think one of my daughters may have had a little crush on him. ????????? Our family and friends felt so welcomed, and thanks to the amazing staff, we truly had the time of our lives. Thank you all for making my brother and sister-in-law's wedding week so memorable. We can't wait to come back!
Great stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay!

My stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay was amazing! The room was clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The balcony was beautiful, room service was excellent, and all of the restaurants and buffet were outstanding. The staff was incredibly courteous, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. My daughter had her wedding at the resort, and it was an unforgettable experience for our entire family. We rented cabanas and a private two-story beach area with its own bar, bartender, and attendant, and the service was exceptional. From the wedding events to the daily activities, everything exceeded our expectations. We made memories that will last a lifetime and would gladly return. Highly recommended! ?????

The value and service you receive at Dreams Vallarta is incredible. If you have kids they will enjoy the Explorers Club. We loved our time and plan to be back in the near future.
Highly recommend

Dreams Vallarta Bay: The Great, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

We spent about a week at Dreams Vallarta Bay and genuinely enjoyed our stay — but with enough caveats that we're still on the fence about returning. **The Great** The staff were exceptional across the board. Our Preferred Club butler, Christian, was outstanding — attentive without being intrusive, and always one step ahead. For an older resort, the property was remarkably well-maintained and consistently clean. If your budget allows, the end suites in the Preferred Club are absolutely worth the premium. **The Good** The food exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive. The buffet (Carnival) shines at breakfast and lunch — go there over the Barefoot Grill for midday; the selection is better and it's surprisingly quiet. Dinner at Himitsu was a highlight. The resort's location is also ideal for excursions, particularly those departing from Puerto Mágico — a $6, 10-minute cab ride away. **The Bad** WiFi was unreliable, and the resort's app — used for room service and requests — was frustratingly inconsistent. Evening entertainment was thin. The nighttime shows were genuinely good, but only scheduled a couple of nights per week. The remaining evenings leaned on karaoke and silent disco, which fell flat. **The Ugly** We arrived at the start of rainy season, and the beach was rough the first few days — trash in the water, murky conditions, and nothing you'd want to swim in. The resort made daily efforts to clean it up, and it did improve significantly by the end of the week, but it's worth knowing if you're timing a trip around beach access. The other issue was the crowd. The all-inclusive format draws its share of loud, inconsiderate guests, and the hallway noise at night — slamming doors, shouting — was genuinely disruptive. --- **Bottom line:** Dreams Vallarta Bay delivers on staff, cleanliness, and food — the fundamentals are solid. The gaps in entertainment, connectivity, and crowd management keep it from being a clear repeat destination for us.
