Visited Dreams in late September. After visiting multiple all inclusives, this is one of the best. The food (restaurants and buffet) were some of our favorites, with a true all-inclusive menu. My wife is gluten free and they had lots of great options that she actually liked. The Explorer's Club for kids was also a highlight, as our 4-year-old daughters loved her time there. Staff at the preferred club were always one step ahead, anticipating our preferences and requests (ie. Diet Coke). Staff in the buffet were friendly, professional, and gave top notch service. Specifically: Oliver, Alejandro, Agustin, Cesar, Alonso, and Andres. Loved the mid-afternoon pool volleyball from the activities crew as well. 10/10 would recommend Dreams Vallarta Bay for a great family all inclusive vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay few weeks ago. The resort was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff made our vacation truly special. A heartfelt thank you to Alejandro, Max, and Juan at the Carnival International Buffet for their outstanding service and warm hospitality! They made us feel so welcome and were especially wonderful with our family. Traveling with our one-year-old foodie was such a fun experience. Our little one loved trying all the delicious food and, of course, making a little mess along the way! ???? It meant so much to feel welcomed and comfortable while dining with our baby. The friendly staff, delicious food, and beautiful resort made our stay truly memorable. We deeply appreciated the kindness and attentiveness shown to our family, especially during our meals. Those thoughtful moments made such a meaningful difference in our vacation.

We had an amazing experience! Joshua was incredibly fun to be around and truly made every day at the pool special. His energy and friendliness added so much to our trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful views. Even though the beach was closed due to the hurricane, there were still plenty of activities available, so we always had something fun to do. The food was excellent, and all of the restaurants were great. The buffet on the Secrets side was definitely better than the one on the Dreams side and offered more variety and higher-quality options. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation, and we made the most of every moment. We would definitely recommend this resort and hope to return in the future!

The property is well maintained and has plenty of options for families and couples alike, we went through a Costco travel package which came with some extra "perks". The discounts we got we almost unusable for the spa, because of the way they have it setup, you can't use the spa discounts at the salon even though it is in the spa. There was a discount on wine which again wasn't worth it because of the price of the wine in the first place, just stick to the free drinks. It's only about a 20 minute taxi from the airport which means you don't have far from your long flight to the actual property. The pools and beach area are about like any other resort in the area. The pool wasn't completely working when we were there due to the hurricane a week or so before which was too bad. The beach is pretty but full of vendors you have to avoid eye contact with if you aren't interested in buying those types of things. That is hard to do if you like looking out at the ocean. As for the food, we ate at every place on the Dreams side of the property and it was good for the most part. The sit down restaurants and good, one of them is adults only, the buffet is where I an issue. They taste and selection is fine, there are different theme nights for dinner which keeps things interesting. I however did get food poisoning from what I believe was the salad bar on the last night there and had to travel the next day completely wrecked. It definitely colored my experience and won't be coming back simply for the fact that type of thing shouldn't happen at a chain like Hyatt.
