Birthday Vacation
marilynmckinney62 (Florissant, Missouri) on Jul 03, 2026
My fiancé and I decided to take a trip to celebrate our birthday’s and wanted to try something different. Overall the trip was a success, but with a few hiccups. Transportation was the main and biggest issue.
The worse Hotel we had been
Esther H (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) on Jul 03, 2026
I started to say I usually don't write this kind of reviews, but at this I need it because I been disappointed with this hotel. My husband and I arrived at Palladuim Palace in Punta Cana on 06/20/26 after a terrible fly that instead of been 3 1/2 hours became a 8 hours. We arrived to the hotel to checking with a person who didn't keep her attention she was talking to other people instead of explaining us the most elemental information about the hotel, she was careless and no costumer service manners. When we stared waking to our room we were approched by a man name Samuel stating that he was our concierge and that he will meet us the following day to she us the hotel which was a lied he met with us the next day just to drop at membership meeting to waste 4 hours of our day. They were so friendly and all smiles until we completed stop them by saying that were not going to buy any membership the smiles went away the same rude as the rest of staff in this hotel. Television never work we called several times to reception just to hear that they were going to send a technician that never show up. The only two friendly people during our stayed at this place were Carmen our cleaning lady and Biki Surez our waitress at the stake house restaurant, Biki Suarez she was grate thank you Biki!! The rest of the of the restaurants mediocre and same thing everyday. The entertainment was boring unless you pay extra for Cabaret same with drinks were bad quality unless you pay extra for good wine. therefore we will not come back to this hotel or its partners, because we have been several other hotel with better service and lower price!!
4/5 star stay!

Overall I would rate the resort a 4 out of 5. Grounds: the grounds to the resort are lovely and you cannot fault the upkeep. Room: our room had no issues. Yes, the shower can leak a little but if you just place a towel down, you will be fine. The step to get in and out of the bath is quite high and can be difficult, especially when the bath is wet, so be extra careful. We had no issues with the air con, and found the temperature of the room to be fine as there is also a fan. Overall, the mini fridge was handy, however we found it to be filled up at different times on different days. On one day in particular, we had ran out of water and were told someone would come fill it shortly (at 9am) and it never got filled at all. When at reception that evening requesting water bottles again and reminding them on the conversation that morning, we were told they had none, so instead had to get water in cups from the bar and take back to our room. Food: On the whole, the food was great. At the buffet, we found a large variety of food available and generally it was good. The crepe station at breakfast and dinner was always great. Gluten free pancakes available at breakfast & gluten free desserts in the evening too. At times, some items were cold and I did see numerous people using their hands to get items instead of utensils which was a shame. We were offered hand sanitizer upon entering restaurants sometimes, but I feel this should be enforced more. On multiple evenings, there were very large queues to get into the buffet. On one occasion, we were not offered drinks at all during dinner. Whilst getting our food, our table was given away to other people twice during one dinner alone. The system/communication between staff seemed very poor. The only other issue with Las Torres was the temperature inside. It was far too hot, which made it particularly uncomfortable when trying to enjoy your meals. We tried the Italian restaurant and this was lovely (9/10) and the steakhouse (7/10). The steak was not very nice, it was over cooked and tough, however the beef ribs were lovely! We found service to be slow, however this was to be expected at a sit down meal. Room service was not worth the $18 (whichever time of day), we had this on one occasion and some food was missing & it was all cold. The coffee shop was fantastic, excellent coffee and pastries, donuts etc. Lots of alternative milks available: soya, almond, lactose free. Pool: the pool was lovely, swim up bar was great. Staff also came to take orders for drinks which were brought to your loungers, one staff member I believe was Santa, was particularly fantastic! No issue getting sun loungers, plenty available throughout the entire day, many with parasols also. Towels available to use too. Beach: the beach was nice, however there is a lot of seaweed so we did tend to avoid it. Although staff did attempt to clear daily, it was hard to keep on top of due to the magnitude, again, not the hotels fault. Staff: on the whole, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was only a couple of times where I believe there was a language barrier so communication was slightly hard. The house keeping staff were also great, fresh towels and bedding daily & bath robes and slippers in the room were a lovely touch We would return again!
Couples Holiday

Scottish couple in their 30s and stayed for 11 nights in June 2026. Pros - Sunbeds and pools. We arrived late most days and always had good availability. Multiple pools to go to. - Room. Air condition, spacious, mini bar refreshed and always cleaned - Staff. Well staffed in restaurants, pool bars, lobby, etc - Restaurants. We had multiple al a carte and great choices of specialised restaurants to mix it up for your evening meal - Food. We loved the food, all live cooking, hot and plenty of choice - Sports. Lots of options with tennis, paddle, mini golf, etc. Facilities were well kept. - Grounds. Very well kept, great for photos and walks. Place is huge! - Sports Bar. Showed all the World Cup games and always busy. - Entertainment. Always something on during the day and shows, etc every odd night - Birthday. Small gesture of leaving a cake in our room for my birthday. Cons - Beer. Lack of choice and watered down (very minor) but plenty of cocktails - Staff. Majority were rude if not tipped or generally seemed annoyed. - Air conditioning. Lobby’s and restaurants lacked air con which meant uncomfortable heats to eat and relax in. - Beach. First week the beach was full of seaweed and had a pungent smell as our room was close. The hotel did a great job of tidying it at the end but stayed away from it
Summer Vacay

Hotel was okay. Not a lot going on at the resort. Way too many interruptions by the pool by vendors selling excursions.
