In general it was a great place to stay in. Great respectgul personel with great aminities. The pool was very good and we realy enjoyed it.The food was great . if you want to use speciality resturant ,need to book when you arrive because it is going to be full very fast.

When we got there we were told that we were temporarily staying in a two double bed suite. We thought nothing of it as they told us they were getting our original room ready by the next day. We thought it was the heat of DR that made the room hot but later on found out that the AC was broken in some of their rooms. We also found out that another couple had a similar experience their first night before they were moved into their official room. The next day we were told that we were going to have lunch at a different part of the resort and would be shown a sales presentation that would take no longer than 2 hours. That presentation ended up taking almost the whole day and took us on a tour of what we basically already had... Then to later get a passive aggressive comment from sales rep. The restaurants were pretty decent for the most part. Half of the time they were amazing the rest of the time they could use some improvements. Their buffets were mediocre... Each time we went, was a different experience. Most of time we lost our table due to poor coordination and they ended up seating people there. The last time we ate at Las Torres, my husband pancakes were NOT COOKED!!!!!! Risk for food poisoning/salmonela!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bar in the main lobby with the evening bartenders are impeccable! The bar by the pool also pretty great. We only ordered drinks at the bar a couple times in the morning/lunch time and those experiences were not so great. On our last day, we ordered a drink at the bar in the morning and was told there was alcohol in it but we did not see the bartender pour anything nor did it taste like anything. Keep in mind we ordered a pina colada. It just tasted like coconut water and ice. Outside of the resort, the exertions were great! We had fun going to Monkeyland, Santo Domingo, and Coco Bongo! Do suggest that their tour bus to Santo Domingo should have a restroom considering the trip is over an hour long. We did book through expedia so it was nice that we had expedia perks like room service coverage and a personal concierge who helped us with rsvps and other needs. The spa was amazing and relaxing as well.This was for our honeymoon, I wish our experience was much better but I understand that a place that big can't be perfect.

Right from the beginning this trip was awful. At check in, the room we booked did not exist. A panoramic oceanview loft room with 2 double beds. It states right on the website that it comes with 2 double beds or 1 king bed, but it doesn't. Our only option given was to downgrade. So to accommodate our family of 4 we had no choice. The room we were given had no air conditioning. It was 26.5 degrees in there all the time. We asked to have it fixed or be moved. They tried fixing it several times with no luck but they really didn't want to move us. It took us 2 days of being told to wait for a message on whatsapp and pleading with guest services to get moved to a room with ac and 2 double beds. Restaurants are impossible to book, especially if you go over the end of 1 month into the next month as they cannot book reservations for the next calendar month... Buffet is extremely busy, with pushy guests and staff. Staff will not stop to allow you to go, they will walk right in front of you and your children with no regard. Bars were fine if you could get service but if you only speak English, good luck! We would be waiting for awhile, next to be served when Spanish speaking people would come up and we were completely disregarded. Overall I would say the resort is nice, the rooms are pretty, but need work for the way they function (ac not working and shower water running through the walls into the bedroom), the food that you can get is good, but the service is horrible. Better customer service would make this resort significantly better, but until then I would not recommend.

I had a great time at Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino. The resort is picturesque, modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Loved the beach The staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. The entertainment team was good and a great variety of food and restaurant options as well.
