Family Easter Break

We had a 10 day stay here and it was amazing. To address other reviews; the staff are anazing. All helpful, smiley: and seem genuinely please to help. The room s yes there are tired but they function and we hardly spent any time in ours. The spa was great and my massage good. The pool is good fun with lots to do. The food is amazing aside for. Our New York Steaks in El Dorado which were over cooked.

March 2026

This is a magnific Hotel, the staff is extremally nice and welcoming, probably one of the best part of the experience. There are several buffets and a la cart restaurants, that allows to have meals in different locations through out the stay. I wish the hotel would promote more Dominican events and music shows. Location is amazing!!

Our 4th and Final Stay: Less Value, Restricted Access, and Poor Service

pavelp935 on Apr 08, 2026

Our fourth, and last time at the Palladium. I will start with the positives. Some of the staff went above and beyond to make us happy: Yomarla from the reception team, Joahne and Yulisa from the host team, Ana in the kids' club, Keila and Jorge in animation, and Raldi on the waitstaff. Kudos to them. But essentially, this is where the good things stop. The breakfast and lunch staff consistently ignored us, making it nearly impossible to get basics like coffee or water. A la carte restaurants were also hard to book and staff there is uninterested in serving you. Arrival was confusing and frustrating. The reception team told us we had been upgraded to their best room, only to reveal at the very end of their pitch that it would cost an extra $7,000. It was a massive waste of time. Overall, the rooms are dated, we dealt with a leaking Jacuzzi, broken locks, and a persistent damp smell. However, the final nail in the coffin was the Bavaro remodel. As this was our fourth trip, we were looking forward to exploring the full property like we used to (we’ve been to all three: Bavaro, Punta Cana, and Palace). We were surprised to learn that Bavaro is now an "exclusive" and "premium" offering, and Punta Cana and Palace guests no longer have access even to the buffets. With higher room costs compared to last year, we are now getting significantly less value. While attempting to speak with the Bavaro team, I was treated like a second-class citizen. I was essentially told, "Oh, you are from Palace; Bavaro is premium here, you should talk to your guest services." As a "concession," they offered to upgrade our bracelets for a mere $160 per day so we could access the artificially created exclusive areas we had access to prior. Overall, this is extremely discouraging, and we will not be coming back.
