Just leaving Royalton Chic in Punta Cana Booked luxury room only to find out it’s actually their standard room which is not luxury at all very small bathroom and room itself, broken handle on closet rained a few days no umbrella A lot of locals here with no wrist bands they were very loud and got better service than those paying customers People are very friendly Maria at guest services was awesome! She booked a restaurant when we could not because app kept stating it was full. Food was very good. I have been to many resorts in the Caribbean thought I would try a Royalton, not much of a beach and no shows in the evening except in lobby area so most nights we were back in our room at 9 When maids cleaned our room they left the sliding door open every time and being on the main level I did not feel very safe. Overall I would rate this resort a 6 out of 10 not one I would come back to unfortunately!

It’s my second time at this resort and it has improved since the first time. It was a group of 10 of us that went. The service is exceptional our butler Enrique took the time to reach out prior to our arrival and went above and beyond throughout our whole time there, he made our stay a true vacation. The facilities themselves need some maintenance and repairs but the people there are amazing. We had great experiences with our waiters Angel, Gabriel, David, Maximo, and Polo. They were very attentive despite how busy it got. The food was good too I liked that they had a variety of choices.

This is my second visit to Chic Punta Cana. I absolutely loved the first visit which prompted me to pick this resort for my 40th birthday celebration with friends. Unfortunately this second visit did not live up to the 1st. The rooms definitely need a refresh. I was in both building 3 and 1 (because my room was given away due to airline delays) and both rooms had a damp/mildew smell which was off putting. We had ants in our room and on our bed. The restaurants were good at night but the buffet was so hot I had concerns about food safety so I did not feel comfortable eating certain items. I found the entertainment to be lacking. Two days around the pool was completely dead. Very low music being played with no vibe team to engage guests. Definitely not the party resort I remember from my first visit. Luckily I was with friends and we made the best of it but if I had come here alone I would have been disappointed. Despite the above my stay was made much better by the staff at the resort. My butler Junior was great and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Chef Ambiorix at Hunters provided us with a delicious Dominican lunch and farewell dinner! The bartenders at the Diamond club beach bar were great!

We had the best butler! He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy! His name is Garlier. "G"!???? Hands down, the best! We were given the best experience possible all because of "G"! Customer service is everything to me. The resort itself was really nice! Excellent!

This was a wonderful vacation. I really can't complain about only one thing, but first. The staff was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our butler Ronald, was great. Don't know how they remember you but he would speak before I would even see him sometimes. Always making sure everything was ok and asking if we needed anything. Very responsive whenever I contacted him in app. Our room was great. We never had issues with the air in our room as I have seen others complain of. It was always cool and comfy. And yes it was hot in the buffet restaurant area but the others were great. You have to try Hunter's and the Italian restaurant, Diamond Club cafe and Munchies....Great food. Great staff. No shortage of staff offering drinks, water or food. Special thanks also to Jean(JC )for a great dining experience at Hunter's and to German(sp) our friend at the beach. Only down side....no elevators. Thanks again Ronald Santana for helping to make our stay great. Would definitely come again. And the beach views were great and the view from my balcony was also great.
