I was expecting a lot more from this resort, the crowd was mainly couples and retired people (the hotel was sold to me as a party hotel), I expected more party and house music dj, food was ok, steakhouse is nice but food was just ok... buffet was very good and you can always find something good Just one big pool, rooms and hotel need renovation but I loved the pink LED under the bed, gives a nice style, the gym was ok, missed a lot of equipment but was clean and I could find ways to train all body parts, loved the staff and my biggest wow is the spa! I was very impressed and has nothing to envy to would class spas, beach was nice but if you are really into beaches, the sand is this particular location is more brown, bavaro beach is nicer, other little point "is diamond club worth it" not sure... the diamond club pool is right now closed for renovation and you don't get that much more, but if you like that premium and hospitality it is a plus, Omar was amazing and always there to answer questions

Pros: This is our 2nd time to Chic Punta Cana in 3 years. -The staff are amazing and friendly. Our butler Omar was top notch. I cant say enough about how accommodating everyone is. -Check in/check out was a breeze -Beautiful breezy sunny weather?? **Shout out to Gabriel, German and Freidly who were engaging and fantastic** -Housekeeping (Maria) was fantastic?? She kept our room stocked???? If we needed anything more—Omar stepped up immediately?? Cons: -The mermaid pool was closed for construction and it was hard to get a spot at the beach or by the pool(but Omar hooked us up) -Maintenance could have been a bit better in some areas. It seemed slightly run down from our first visit. Bottom line: We go for the relaxing fun vibe, warmth & sunshine in February and the amazing staff that work there & all the little things they do to make your stay special???? The rest is just stuff….

I'd give the resort 2.5 stars on a 5 star scale. The restaurants were mediocre at best. I enjoyed the buffet more. We were diamond package guest but the diamond pool and casino was under construction. Our butler Mr. Omar Mota was an amazing help, he went above and beyond assisting with reservations and excursions he was top notch! I had a junior ocean view suite and it was nice but the last two days there the TV and phone service stopped working so we couldn't order room service.

Our butler, Omar, made the whole experience amazing! He is the best and truly made all the difference with his personal touches, customer service and assistance.

This is the second time we've enjoyed this beachfront experience. The resort is small, which makes it easy to get from your room to the beach or the restaurants. Although a bit dated and in need of a cosmetic touch-up, the room was very clean. The ocean view is amazing. Excellent food! As diamond club members, we had access to a private lounge and restaurants that are only available to members. However, we preferred going to the buffet as you have better variety. The beach is small and you may not be able to find a lounger, unless you get there early. But is it a clean beach and the hotel provides you with towels on the spot. There are sales people who approach you once in a while but they don't "harass" you if you tell them you're not interested. Entertainment-wise, there is a program every day, from dance classes during the day to various performances during the evening. Our butler was sending us the schedule every morning. We also booked excursions via the Nexus rep at the hotel. Keep in mind they can be pricey but worth seeing things outside of the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Have 1 and 5 US dollar banknotes so you can tip staff for their service.
