Great resort! Very relaxing and attentive staff. Looking forward to when we can visit again

The beach, at the time we were in the DR, was completely destroyed. The sand is eroded to the point where there is barely room for loungers. The seaweed is so bad that there is no way you can enjoy walking on the beach or going in the ocean without being inundated by seaweed. The seaweed smell is also terrible. Apparently, this has been an ongoing problem in the DR due to the warm sea waters. Because the sand was so eroded, they couldn't rake the seaweed as there would be nothing left on the beach. Maybe they restock the sand in high season? I can't confirm this, so check before you book. I attached 4 pics - before (2025) and after (2026) Our agent did not fill me in on this problem. I assume because they wanted to make a sale (I booked for 5 people). That being said, the hotel and rooms are a bit dated but acceptable. The staff are amazing. The specialty coffee shop is amazing. The food is great.

A great hotel, friendly people, great food and amenities. The hotel staff went above and beyond to deal with an issue that occurred with one of my clients. Security staff and managers were involved to solve the matter and to make sure everything was clear! After some investigation the results came and the incident was due to an isolated matter with someone from the group. They deserve a very high note. I’m recommending this hotel to every single one of my clients. Amazing experience! Thanks

The hotel was generally clean. The location disables occupants from exploring the city. The hotel extracted about $200.00 from my card in addition to the total cost with the promise that it will be credited to my account/card upon check out. I made a request for the money when i checked out, but sadly, up to date, about a month since i left the hotel, they have deliberately refused to pay back my deposit. This is quite unfair and i dont know whether it is a way of extorting money from occupants. I am highly disappointed in the management of the hotel. I request that the deposit should be paid back into my account immediately.

We had a great time. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious and the drinks hit the right spot. The entertainment was not so bad but the crew was great.
