Had Diamond Club 1 bed Presidential suite. Lovely greeting upon arrival at hotel & ushered 2 specific Diamond Club area 4 check in. Our butler was Argeuris. He was fab 4 the whole 7n we were there, texting every day early with days events, booked our dinner reservations. We did have an issue with our meal @ Indian restaurant, dinner cold, staff didn’t apologise or explain, other tables already had walked out. We told Arg next day, who escalated 2 mgmt. & every meal thereafter was good, & staff attentive. Only 1 cup in room 4 tea, no teaspoons, but Arg sorted very next day. I asked 4 firmer pillows, but told pilllow menu catalogue being reviewed so nothing diff available! Pillow menu was advertised as available for this room, but not big issue. We have been 2 Royalton Negril previously, & food in this hotel better. Needs more choice of evening bars, as Taboo only proper one. Would love a late afternoon/evening beach bar, so can sit on sandy area with nice furniture, bar, patio area, as beach very cramped with sunbeds touching each other, especially in Diamond area, but prob due 2 depth of beach in this resort but hotel not made best of what is there. Diamond club Mermaid pool area very bland & doesn’t make u think u r in a special area. Didn’t get swept/cleaned very early after rain during night. Very out of the way so used main pool. Staff so friendly, & lots of evening entertainment. Arg was fab & perfect. Fab holiday tho & none of issues spoilt it.

Another beautiful Royalton property! The entertainment and amount of fun that you can have is amazing without leaving the resort! There’s spa services so worth it, the hydrotherapy/massage was so needed! The casino and nightclub so much fun! We had the best time!

We chose Royalton CHIC Punta Cana for our honeymoon and were extremely disappointed. During our stay, we dealt with poor service, incorrect drink orders, excursions that were not what we were sold, a broken safe, and air conditioning that barely worked. We spent several nights sweating and struggling to sleep. The most concerning issue was that someone entered our room while we were asleep in the middle of the afternoon. What frustrated us most was the service. Even while tipping generously, we often felt like we were bothering staff simply by asking for a drink, assistance, or basic service. As longtime Marriott travelers, we expected much better. Unfortunately, this was not the level of hospitality we expected for our honeymoon, and I would not recommend this resort for a honeymoon or special occasion.

My husband and I just got back from our stay. We had a great time. The staff amazing, We had Cleifin assigned to us for the duration of the stay and he was the best. He coordinated whatever we needed. Food was great and I highly recommend the spa. We just wanted to relax and have a good time, exactly what we got. The room was clean and comfy. Every day they had different entertainment during the day and night, and it was awesome. The atmosphere being and only adults resort made perfect. We chose not to take tours, we enjoyed the facilities. We loved it and was totally worth it!
