Our stay at Paradisos was overall a wonderful experience, and the highlight for us was Tiara, our concierge. She took care of every detail with such kindness and professionalism; she was incredible with the kids and made this trip truly phenomenal. Every need was met with a smile and efficiency. The food was good—there was a nice variety, and we could easily book restaurants for the entire week, with Tiara’s help, which was fantastic. The facilities were also great, especially the kid-friendly activities like the Aqua Zone and the foam parties, which we all loved. That said, the biggest downside was the cleanliness of the room. It was simply not up to par—even after daily cleaning, we noticed crumbs and dirt left behind, and some areas felt really run-down—there was rust in the shower, and we even saw ants and a roach in the room. It was disappointing, because it really took away from the otherwise great vacation. That said, the service as a whole was amazing—the staff at the pool, the bar, and the dining areas were all so warm and friendly. If they improve the cleanliness standards, this would be a five-star stay. But as it stands, the staff and Tiara truly made it special, even though the room quality was a letdown.

Paradisus Playa Del Carmen very good service , food I rate 8/10 out of ten clean I normally don’t complain but the rooms need to be fixed properly # 3015 and 3017 especially walls not painted properly door handle to bathroom paint on glass doors and also main entrance to room , room had smell of paint which I was breathing all week that I there and hole in wall covered with the frame, fridge was not working and was full of bugs requested to be exchanged , I feel bad to complain but I am a club member since 2014 and this is the first time I have been to this location . I’m not sure if I will return to this hotel.

Had a great experience overall.. food options were good too. Our family concierge Eduardo Monroy was very helpful and was there for us as this is our first visit to Cancun and Paradius. He and all the staff were friendly and courteous.

Great Playa Del Carmen Stay

We had a wonderful stay overall. The resort is big and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything the property has to offer. We booked a Family Concierge room with a private swim-up, and it was definitely worth it. The room was spacious, comfortable, and having direct access to the pool made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. A special thank you to our concierge, Roberto Vado, who consistently checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed. His attentiveness and professionalism made our stay even more memorable. One of the highlights of our trip was the water park. It was fantastic and well worth the stay on its own. There was plenty of open seating, including comfortable daybeds, so we never had trouble finding a place to relax while the kids played. Our older kids loved the larger water slides, and we were especially impressed with the infant splash area. Our 16-month-old was able to safely walk around and enjoy the water features independently without needing a float, which made it a great experience for the whole family. The resort offers several specialty restaurants, but reservations are required, and it can be difficult to get your preferred dining time. While we appreciated the variety of options, we found the food to be average compared to other all-inclusive resorts we've visited. The buffet also felt small for the number of guests it serves, especially during peak meal times. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was that my wife and I became very ill after dining at Capela, where we both ate the calamari and mussels. While we can't say for certain what caused it, we suspect the meal may have been the source. We were sick for nearly two days, which significantly impacted our vacation, and I was only able to eat watermelon for another day afterward. Despite that unfortunate experience, the resort itself is beautiful, the staff are outstanding, and the Family Concierge service was excellent. The accommodations and water park made for an unforgettable family vacation. If the food quality and dining experience were improved, this would easily be one of our favorite family resorts.
