Great Hotel with a Staff to match!

We went to Paradisus La Perla to celebrate our anniversary and stayed in The Reserve section of the hotel. Throughout our stay the staff made everything amazing. Our personal concierge Raul, took care of everything we needed. He made dinner reservations, answered all our questions and ensured our stay was amazing. Since it was our anniversary, we even had the room setup with a with rose pedals, a scented bubble bath and champagne in ice. It was truly a great trip. The hotel was wonderful, with great amenities and a comfortable feel. The Reserve upgrade was worth it for the private pool and beach areas and the amazing concierge. I would definitely stay here again.

Great service for an all inclusive

Our waiter at the beach was great. His name was Victor and he made sure our glass was never empty He spoke fluent english and unlike other all-inclusive resorts he didn"t hide to provide excellent service. Also Elias was in charge of towels and beach chairs. He spoke good english and was great every morning setting up our beach palapa.

Incredible. Go here just to meet Fabian and Alfredo! Two of the Best!

Our trip was amazing. The service, food and resort was everything we could have asked for. Our butler Fabian was the best we have ever had! He arranged everything for us, sent us daily schedules and went above and beyond to bring champagne and a cake to our room because he knew we were celebrating a birthday. He also brought us cheese and crackers and red wine simply because he saw us and we said we were craving it. He greeted us good morning everyday and always found us to say hello. He is simply the best!! Make sure to request him when you stay! Another person I must mention is Alfredo, the pool waiter. He was incredible. He was with us everyday and always made sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to make us feel special. The entire resort was clean and friendly. The food was amazing. We honestly couldn't have asked for more.

Loved it, loved it, loved it

We stayed here for a big family celebration (15 of us, 3 generations ranging from toddler to 80, 5 rooms). Rooms were absolutely stunning, as were the grounds. The reserve pools were so gorgeous (and the friendly coatis so cute) it was hard to rip ourselves away from them, but it was just a short boardwalk through the mangrove forest to the beach, which offered amazing warm water and beautiful views of the sunrise each morning. Our concierge Nestor Herrera was the best! So friendly and helpful, got us reservations to all the restaurants we wanted to try (and the restos are amazing there, especially Aguamarina, La Palapa and Fuego! It seems like the buffets are fine but don’t really compare), patiently changed the reservations when we changed our minds, set us up with hydrotherapy at the spa (sauna, steam room, then these spellbinding pressure pools), and kept us updated on all the events and activities going on. We also really enjoyed the aqua Zumba and other water exercise classes - stayed active enough that all the terrific food and swim-up pina coladas didn’t fatten us up too much! Staff were uniformly great. Shout out to the waitstaff at Mole who coped admirably with our giant multigenerational group. Would definitely go back!

Do not stay at this resort!!!

I don’t know where to start. When we first arrived at the Paradisus we booked the family master suite swim up with Concierge’s service an expensive room type booked 3 months before our check in date which was October 30th 2022. When we first arrived at the main lobby they made us stay for while and made me verify We had that room type total about 40 mins. Then they finally made sure whatever they had to was correct and off we went on a golf cart to the reserve private check in side. They have construction going on and was put next to room 2009 swim up was constant construction we told our concierge she was like we can give you a measly 200.00 resort credit. Room service was horrible food comes cold and like an hour late. If you stay there make sure you have a lot of money because they constantly ask for tips. We sat down at the sunrise grill waited about 30 mins and not even one person acknowledged we were there. Also if you make a reservation at the MOLE restaurant save your time because it is the worst restaurant there and the front check in lady is very rude. We asked her for a 5 min late check in and was told no at 6 pm which the restaurant was empty. If you decide to do the express check out the night before once you clear and still have the next day Travel day they will not care about you anymore. Also do not take a taxi from the hotel. The hotel takes a cut which costs you more money. Just walk out the hotel and take a taxi from the street it’s way better. The only good thing about our stay was the hibachi show and food that’s it. There are other resorts better than the Paradisus play del Carmen and much cheaper. On our last day we had about 5 hours left at the resort so we wanted to eat lunch before we headed to the airport, so we ordered room service and we never got it we kept calling and they said they would bring it up so this was at 12 pm food never came and we had to leave.
