The great experience

The experience was the best… we came from Spain for the first time to Mexico with so many doubts about the hotel, but once you enter on it, you feel you are in the right place!! All the waiters and reception desk (need to place an special thanks to Henry and Orlando at the Farenheit) and Eduardo (our concierge) who made our stay so many special!! We will back next year all family for sure!!

Visited the Adults Only Paradisus La Perla on early July. Right when hurricane Beryl passed through Cat-2. I was impressed by the level of preparedness as all possible flying objects (tarps, lamps, outdoor mattresses, decorations, etc) had been retired and the management and staff seemed to have a well crafted contingency plan for a minimal disruption of the services and the security of the guests. Luckily there were only some strong winds, and the day after in the evening, all activities were resumed normally including delicious dinner at the buffet and specialities restaurants. The breakfast at the buffet was superb. Having said that let’s start with a welcoming reception at the lobby, with fresh warm towels handled by the bellboys and a very courteous front desk lady. The resort has a relaxed and natural ambience. Don’t be scared of Coaties, cute mammals endemic of the region, that roam freely mainly near the beach areas, they are harmless and friendly, just don’t feed them. Our room was not ready yet since we arrived earlier but we were politely invited, in the meantime, to enjoy a delicious Mexican meal at the Blue Agave restaurant. Our room, a mini suite, was impeccable, clean and comfortable, with an ample and well stocked bathroom, and a huge shower with two shower heads. The bed was comfy and the minibar full of beer, water, soda and juices. The pool was nice and full of people celebrating 4 of July with a DJ and a show, there was a joyful atmosphere full of music and drinks. The beach is gorgeous, but swimming forbidden the days pre and post hurricane for security mandates by the local authorities. Once restrictions lifted we enjoyed 2 more days at the beach, with white sands and warm water, some seaweed brought by the storm was cleaned after. There were plenty of sun loungers and cabanas, beach towels, and servers ready to bring you cold drinks, snacks and water at your request. There were security personnel at every access to the beach, life guards on duty and local low enforcement patrolling regularly. We felt safe all the time. All staff was very attentive the whole time and it feels they were the extra mile due to the circumstances trying to please and accommodate the guests. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all staff.
