I want to give a huge thank you to Valentín for making my birthday week unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming. Claudia helped us get situated with our rooms during check-in, and Kevin went above and beyond by showing us around the resort and escorting us to our rooms. Kevin became a familiar face throughout our trip—he even took us to my birthday dinner at the French restaurant, which was absolutely stunning and truly special inside and out. The poolside entertainment was another highlight of our stay. Pablo kept the energy alive every day with fun and interactive activities. My favorite dining experience was at May Terria and the Ginger restaurant—they were simply exceptional! I have to give a special shoutout to Dora for making our last day the most memorable. Her warm and vibrant spirit is something truly special. She has an incredible way of connecting with guests, making everyone feel welcome and celebrated. Whether it was our chats or dancing at the pool, she made our stay extra fun and full of joy. Valentín has set the standard for luxury and customer service—it’s hands down the best adults-only all-inclusive resort I’ve visited in Cancún. If I could give ten stars, I would! I’ll definitely be a repeat guest. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Relax at the valentine

Great resort for adults, room are spacious and very clean. The food was good but lacking variety but not 5 star The staff was attentive and polite. When it rains and it rained often the cushions on loungers were soaked, so next morning they so wet you cannot sit on them. The pool loungers need replacing.the balcony rail on our room was damaged and the door to access it was locked Be careful of railings

Another Excellent Holiday

Third time visiting this resort. Had another excellent holiday. Stayed in a Deluxe Junior Suite in building 3 which we have stayed in previously. Service all around was excellent, food was amazing, the resort is kept spotless. We will be back !

10th Anniversary at the Valentin!!

This was our 4th time at the Valentin, and it keeps getting better! Everything-- food, hospitality, cleanliness, comfort is top notch. We especially loved the Chef's Table experience this time. High class service and crazy inventive menu. What we appreciate the most is how special we are made to feel in a daily basis. Can't wait to go back for a fifth time!!

Beautiful resort, great food, a few areas for improvement

There is a lot to love about the VIM and the reviews are terrific for good reason. First and foremost, the food is excellent. Getting in to one of the a la carte restaurants can be a challenge, but the quality and presentation is worth it. The property itself is beautiful, the pools are cool (proper temperature!!!) and our rooms in the junior emerald suite buildings were absolutely gorgeous. The Imperial house band is terrific and puts on a great show. A few of the resort staff were noteworthy during our stay including German, Sexy Carlos and Pablo from the Go Team. If there are shortcomings at VIM, they are few. They're more areas for improvement. One is the inability of non-prive package holders to make dinner reservations at all but one restaurant. You can't have guests sitting in the plaza for 90 minutes or more because they cannot get in anywhere, but this happened to us several times. Most people on vacation want to eat somewhere between 7 and 9 p.m., so VIM needs to create a reservation system that makes this possible. Other resorts have; it's not that hard. Another issue is the significant damage to the beach from recent hurricanes. Not the resort's fault, obviously, but guests need to know that it's nowhere close to what it used to be, and to that end, the resort needs to take down the beach photos on its website and replace them with updated ones. It's only fair. Finally, unfortunately, the chair-saving game is alive and well at VIM, and apparently they aren't willing to address it. Getting up early to reserve a chair before breakfast is fine, but not occupying it until after lunch -- and doing this in multiple locations every day -- is just plain wrong. Other resorts forbid this selfish crap. VIM needs to do the same.
