Wonderful staff

We recently stayed at the Westin for vacation. The front desk agent Elaine Dai was exceptional! Her professional and friendly attitude amidst a strike going on outside was excellent. She was very accommodating with our daily requests and ensured that our stay was top notch. As an avid traveler, her dedication to making the guests feel comfortable and cared for left a very strong impression. Would definitely recommend staying at the Westin.

Rubbish

First time I have visited San Francisco and worst choice of hotels staff are on strike banging drums and screaming thru loudspeaker from 7am to 10pm 7 days a week if you have booked this hotel change it, I am really disappointed that no mention of this was on website or on my app as a gold elite member, no bars open no resterants on arrival we were put in room 2983 the shower does not work well and the room is nothing like the nice clean white rooms in the picture it is brown and sad looking whilst we were there none of the toiletries were replaced during my stay won’t ever come back thank you st Francis for spoiling my holiday and San Francisco.

Wonderful Hotel

I had the pleasure of a two night stay here, after completing a Harley Davidson bike tour across California. There was a large queue to check in but I got a really helpful lovely man to check me in, I wish I had of wrote his name down as he really was lovely. My daughter had posted out a parcel from Scotland for me at this hotel, which was a novelty keepsake for my fellow riders. I had checked with the lovely man on reception who checked and advised nothing had been received. Which was a shame but no big deal as like I say novelty gift, not life saving. However we had a brilliant stay, we had upgraded to a larger room and we were not disappointed, the room was exceptional and the views were amazing. The location of the hotel was fantastic as was the service in the bar, we didn't experience the restaurant but loved the bar. All in all a beautiful hotel, one of which I would stay again. 100% goes to customer service as much to my total surprise I received the said parcel, at my home address in Scotland just the other day. I hadn't even asked for it to be returned, but 5 stars goes to whoever did this as this will guarantee my return to this gem of a hotel. So many, many thanks.

Employees Are Keeping Me Awake

Do not stay here. The employees are on strike and shouting into bullhorns and playing drums. Why are they taking bookings? I just want a place to sleep. The noise permeates the poorly insulated rooms. You will regret staying here. What happens when the strike is over? These same jerks will be working inside the building.

Amazing Customer Service

Herman at the front desk was amazing—super friendly, incredibly patient, and truly went above and beyond with check-in, local recommendations, and making me feel welcome. His attention to detail and warm attitude made all the difference. His service was top-notch from start to finish! He absolutely deserves a BIG raise. Many thanks, Herman!!
