Jackie Jacqueline at the spa. Phenomenal Sports massage. I've had treatments worldwide, high skill and technique. A variety of treatments offered and the ambience for me was just right within the treatment room. Well worth a visit superb.

Great fun with great friends!

We had an awesome time this past week! Our group stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and had a blast! We took advantage of room service after a long day of travel when we arrived. Tried all of the restaurants and bars! All were great! Try to sit in Beach Server Brandon's section on the beach. It didn't matter if we were in our beach chairs or in the water, he made sure we were taken care of! He was the best! He deserves a raise!

Great amenities but work is required!

Windjammer Landing could be an amazing five star resort. The water sports team are fantastic, so helpful and professional. The gym is great and the yoga classes with Neymar are very good. Rooms are very good and wifi all over the resort is excellent. The queue for breakfast is unacceptable even for a Four Star resort. Another restaurant is needed and some urgency from the staff. Food allergies and vegan dietary choices are not well understood. Options are limited. Papa Dons is the only restaurant with decent service. Training is needed and more vegan options! The beach is lovely and private as it is not accessible from outside the resort. There was an absence of ridiculous masking and hand sanitizing, thank goodness!! The water slide provided hours of fun for our children!

I'd like to give it 4.5 out of 5 if possible. We enjoyed our vacation overall - staying a week in a 1 bedroom hillside villa with an all-inclusive plan. The room was updated with a nice large shower, large patio, but had a broken refrigerator - the resort had an old large white one placed in the unit as a backup, which we appreciate they proactively got a solution before we arrived, but it also took up a lot of space in the living area. The main bedroom bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable and would not work for adult(s). The restaurants were all really good (other than experiencing undercooked pizza dough at Papa Don's and Ember, and very undercooked naan bread at Masala) but not spectacular. Very good fresh mahi mahi at most of the restaurants (only fish we saw as catch of the day). The drinks were impressive as they served real cocktails with the brand alcohol, made them a good strength but not undrinkable. I did find it super odd that they didn't have fresh limes at any of the bars and often very little fresh mint, and were always out of anything that wasn't in season (eg passion fruit, which was in many drink menus but always unavailable). HOWEVER the restaurant and bar prices are ridiculously inflated so only consider all-inclusive and be prepared to be told that wine by the glass is included but then get to the restaurant and they tell you all the wines by the glass that aren't included ($6/glass surcharge for basic Cupcake wine makes no sense). Also various steaks had surcharges which is quite annoying at an all inclusive resort. Other resorts usually only upcharge for lobster and $50+ bottles of wine/champagne, but here anything in the bottle had a high cost. I would have appreciated a bottle or two be in the room for the week so we didn't have to take shuttles just to get our 'included' drinks. The staff were very friendly, quite possibly the best we've experienced in the Caribbean so it was clear they were treated well. The shuttle service was essential for us as it was too hot and steep to walk with traffic on narrow roads; however we felt a lot of time was wasted waiting - some times it was a 2min wait and others a 20min wait. We sincerely appreciated Brent the shuttle driver asking us the day before when we wanted to be picked up for check out, and he arrived on time (actually 5min early), so we didn't have to worry. The other area we felt we lost a lot of time was waiting on bills at restaurants, bars, ice cream shop... possibly 30+min per day spent waiting on bills and then another 30+ on shuttles so it does eat into the relaxing part of vacation. Perhaps the biggest frustration was waiting 20+min in the heat on checkout day to get a spot at the buffet breakfast. They clearly aren't set up for full occupancy - management please consider opening Jammers for breakfast as well at peak dates. The ocean at the resort was a disappointment though not the resort's fault - a nice calm bay but also means not clear/somewhat murky water and all sea grass instead of pure sand bottom with limited sea life. Overall I recommend, especially if you're more into lounging by the pool/beach vs swimming/snorkeling, and have patience to wait on shuttles and to wait on bills each time you want a drink/snack/meal. What was clear is the resort does care about its guests and its staff do a wonderful job! Pros - Very friendly staff - Decent food and really good cocktails - Calm bay for young kids - Motorized watersports included in all inclusive - Kids club (if there are enough kids, otherwise not fun to be the only kid, but did appreciate they were open still with low attendance) Cons - The restaurant and bar prices are ridiculously inflated so only consider all-inclusive (and watch for surcharges) - The beach ocean area is covered in seagrass at the bottom, and gets quite murky with all the water activities so it is not the "dream" Caribbean white sand beach water entry or clear water; only a couple tiny coral heads so really not a snorkel spot - Lots of time wasted waiting on restaurant/drink/ice cream bills to come, even for all-inclusive guests - Lots of time wasted waiting on shuttles, and too steep and hot for walking to most of the rooms - Horribly uncomfortable sofa bed - 100% not recommending for adults or larger kids, so ensure you have 2 full bedrooms if 2 couples are sharing - Loud base most evenings could be heard from our room, but seemed to end before midnight. I just wish they'd turn down the base - as this didn't come across as a big party resort - mainly retired couples and young families at least over the Easter week.

Island paradise resort

We spent a week all inclusive in this resort and had a great experience. The setting is very beautiful! Our room was on the second level (18) and had stunning sea view but also close enough to walk up and down. All inclusive option was great and it’s totally worth paying extra to have it! There are 5 restaurants on site, all offering different cuisine. Two restaurants serve lunch and they are right on the beach front. Some require reservations for dinner so suggest you book them all in advance as soon as you arrive to the resort. All restaurants offer waiters service which is so much nicer vs buffet! Our favourite was Upper deck steak restaurant and papa dons - Italian. I also enjoyed Masala (Indian restaurant). There is an extensive schedule of fitness classes. All 3 coaches are great: Richard, Nima and Brandon did the upmost to make sure you do exercises properly. I love Pilates , yoga and beach fitness just to name a few that I’ve done over the week! Water sports are great too. You can try paddle boarding, water skiing, snorkel swimming, kayaking just a few! You can also do banana boat ride or sofa ride every day at 4pm. All you need is to sign up! Snorkelling was great off the beach and they also have diving school that I’ve used for go diving. The hope place is great and well set up for you to have nice and relaxing time. I’ll totally will recommend it. I think this resort makes a destination!
