This is perhaps the best hotel that I've ever stayed at. The service was bar none and housekeeping even brought me bath salts to enjoy the luxurious bathtub. I was celebrating a special occasion and appreciated the artfully designed chocolates that were a gift from the hotel. The hotel had nightly live entertainment and a spacious, vibrant eating and bar area. I enjoyed the rooftop heated swimming pool and was able to swim laps in the evening. The waterfront location allowed me to easily access the seawall trail when I wasn't busy in meetings. Stanley Park is beautiful and I saw a whale at sunset by Third Beach. The concierge was very knowledgeable and provided tips to stay safe when venturing out of the immediate area. The hotel is in an upscale area but there are surrounding areas plagued with homelessness, filth, and crime.

I came to Vancouver to get my Canadian passport renewed and the Pac Rim Fairmont is very close to the passport office in Sinclair Center. The views from our room are stunning! Additionally, the staff are delightful. We plan to come back again soon and highly recommend this hotel.
