Lots of Minus and some Plus
Reviewed by Richard Z(Lake Havasu City, Arizona) on Feb 22, 2021
Room was clean and housekeeping was very good. Food service was for the most part poor. The hotel was quite busy but there were not enough staff to handle guests. Only one restaurant open during the week. Bring your own coffee if you like your coffee with your breakfast!
Valentine’s Disappointment
Reviewed by JillianFiero() on Feb 16, 2021
My boyfriend surprised me with an ocean front jacuzzi suite at the Outrigger Waikiki for our Valentine’s Day together and we were both so excited for our stay but were let down from the start. As soon as we arrived one of valet attendants refused to valet our car because the lot was full, but after speaking with another attendant he was able to accommodate us. By the time we got up to our room the sun was setting and we wanted to jump in the bathtub to enjoy the view, but our water did not heat up until later in the night. Shortly after, one of the jets popped out and we saw that there was mold all along the inside of the jets which was extremely disgusting. Especially during this time of Covid-19 we expected everything to be completely clean and sanitary and we felt the exact opposite. We didn’t want to make a big fuss to the front desk ladies since they were so kind and we knew it wasn’t their fault. For all the money that we spent on our two night staycation, and for the special occasion that was Valentine’s Day, we were extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, it does not look like we will be returning.
Heavenly

From the minute we pulled into valet till our day of departure two days later our Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort experience was "Heavenly". Smiles everywhere we turn. Valet, Bellman very friendly. Front desk super welcoming with Aloha and eager to get us checked in and to our room to start enjoying out stay. Breakfast and dinners at Duke's great. Loved that Duke's had "live" music from 10am till closing for us beachgoers an extra bonus to soak in the sun, sea and listen to beautiful local music. There were 3 generations of us enjoying the staycation, the Outrigger. The perfect spot with all the amenities for all of us to enjoy.!!! We're already planning our next stay.
Outstanding

Stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort back in August and November with some friends. The resort never fails to bring the Aloha Spirit. Always warm and welcoming. From the Valet staff, Bellman, Housekeeping and Front Desk you'll always be greeted with the word Aloha. The resort does live up to it's cleaning standards. When they say Outrigger's Clean Commitment, they really mean it. Everyone at this wonderful resort is committed to the health and safety of their guests and fellow colleagues. This resort is in the heart of Waikiki where shops and restaurants are right outside your door. And this resort has direct beach access which makes it even better, rather than having to walk so far from another hotel. The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort brings local and world class hospitality. If you really want to enjoy the islands and experience real island culture, I suggest staying at this wonderful resort, where you will find the true spirit of hospitality.
Bringing in the New Year!

Wow! What a beautiful experience! Everything was perfect, the oceanfront room was the best we had ever stayed in! We had a jacuzzi in our room overlooking the beautiful ocean! All you see is crystal blue water from every corner of the room! The service was outstanding, from the valet staff, to bell service and front desk. Everyone greeted us with a warm smile and by our names each time we walked by. We upgraded our room to include the VIP Voyager 47 Club lounge, which included breakfast/coffee every morning and appetizers/drinks at sunset. We were very impressed with the VIP club and the food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Each time we went, we were served more a full meal than a snack. And last, the location is ideal, it’s located in the heart of Waikiki above the famous Dukes restaurant. Music daily at the Dukes restaurant and water activités, including surf and surf lessons, are right in front of the resort. I cannot say enough about how magical this place is! Waikiki definitely has the “Aloha Spirit” as they say and a piece of our hearts. We will come again soon, thank you!
