We enjoyed every minute of our Unico vacation! From the minute we arrived, we were treated like VIPS. Our butlers, Roger and Israel were amazing! They checked in with our group several times a day and helped us with anything we needed or any questions we had. Their attention to detail was superb! We can’t wait to return!

Recently spent a week at Unicorn in riviera Maya. We were there as guests of our friends who have a vacation package with Hard Rock Cafe. So, we were lucky to have that perk! Unicorn is a little more upscale than your average all inclusive. It is also smaller and more quiet. The resort is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and clean. The staff is wonderful and charming! And our host, Laura was the best. She checked on us every day and helped in every way she could! We are not excursion people and basically hung by the pool everyday. The pool area is really nice with black instead of white or blue pools. There is a "party pool", a members pool, and a quieter public pool. There was never an issue finding chairs. The staff was great but did seem a little short when a convention came and things got crowded. There are four restaurants, there's a generic restaurant with a numeric name I don't remember, an Italian, Japanese and Mexican. Our favorite was the Japanese. Again, service was lacking during crowded times. We had an ocean front room that didn't disappoint. However, the property just north of us had a venue that played music all night. It was very strange. It wasn't distracting enough to ask to be moved but it was strange. Here is another thing that makes me give this resort 4 stars instead of 5 stars When you arrive, they make you sign a form that says you will pay for any damage you do to the resort. We signed without thinking. Someone in my party got Montezuma's revenge. It was so bad that one night they couldn't get to the bathroom and soiled the sheet. It was one, maybe two sheets. At check out we were charged 132

Had a wonderful time!Great choices for dining. Clean room with comfortable bed. Top shelf drinks. Very relaxing vibe. Our Host For the week was Laura, she was FABULOUS. She checked in on us regularly without being intrusive and she made sure we were always informed and made sure our vacation was going smoothly. She even took my sunglasses to the sunglass boutique on-site to have a screw repaired in them so I wouldn’t have to leave the pool.

Unico was wonderful! Carlos was our butler and he was the BEST I have ever had at any resort! He checked on us many times during the day, met us for dinners to ensure everything was perfect for our 4 nights of dining and made sure we were all well taken care of. Our daily chairs, cabana, itinerary were texted to all 11 of us early mornings which helped us plan our day. Unico is an amazing all inclusive resort and I will return back with my husband! This was our first all inclusive getaway and we loved it. The grounds are beautiful and every now and then you catch a glimpse of an iguana and other local wildlife. All of the staff was great from concierge to the servers. Special mention for Daniela, and Hugo our hosts, Pasquale, and Oscar. So many others were wonderful and make us want to return. The food at every restaurant on site was amazing. We had an hydrothermal experience at the spa that was so relaxing. The pull up room was a great decision and I enjoyed relaxing in our hammock. We will return and highly recommend this resort!
