Amazing!!

This was our 2nd visit in the last 9 months and it did not disappoint! Food, service, drinks the entire vibe of the hotel was amazing! Wonderful people and wonderful staff! We will be back soon! Shout out to Luis@ Eric at Pelicanos. Those two young men were true professionals and had a great sense of humour too...

Great Place.

This was our second trip to the Hilton Playa del Carmen, and we've had a wonderful time each trip. We love the lively, but not party-centric atmosphere. The staff are great and very helpful. The food is all great and we love having a few healthier options at Barefoot to grab and go. The gym is decently sized for a hotel. It's enough to get the job done for a week. We loved the activities with Roberto, Ulises and Job. I'm absolutely amazed at how quickly they learn and remember names, which makes you feel welcome. It can be hard to find a pool chair. And there have been a couple times that we've ordered drinks to the room and they just never showed up. Aside from that, all positive!

The perfect mix of fun and sun!

First all-inclusive trip and we were blown away by the number of activities everyday! Foam parties, Mexican handcrafts, acrobat music shows, salsa lessons and so much more! The guys running the events were great too, funny, patient and just fun! Ulises, Job and Roberto made our stay fabulous!

Don’t stay in this place!

On the second day of my vacation, I was stung by a venenos stonefish. I was taken to the resort doctor which was in a hotel room and not in a clinic. The treatment was hot water and vinegar on my feet. This was the most excruciating pain ever and the doctor was unable to reassure me or help or or give me next steps or treatment other than hot water and a pain killer. I was then charged 540 US dollars for this. My vacation was ruined, I had to cancel all my excursions and cancel all My activities as I was unable to move. The hotel staff did not care, did not reach out did not offer any accommodations or assistance. There was no signage indicating that these fishes were in the surrounding area. There are signs for caution regarding rocks for high winds and all other resorts in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Cayman, Turks, etc, have signage for sting rays, turtles and or venenos fish that are directly in front of the resort. There was no warning , no signage and most importantly no aftercare from the resort. The front desk hotel staff did not check in and offered no help. The beach and the resort is poorly maintained and in the event you get hurt the hotel will dismiss you and send you a bill. Do not stay here.

Never stay here...

Horrible experience, as we were leaving, we were surrounded by 6 staff members, after notifying them that my wife had went back to check out at the front desk, they still proceeded to surround me and tell me they were going to call the police. I Notify Hilton and still no respond. I will never return; the hotel is supposed to be a place that is safe, and I definitely did not feel that way.
