We took friends celebrating their 3rd anniversary since we were celebrating our 5th anniversary. The over all experience was lovely except for the fact that my driver's license and credit card went missing and Security didn't file an official report or give it the attention that it deserved although we stayed 3 days after it went missing. Other than that. We enjoyed the food, the entertainment, the beach, the room ( we had a swim out) and the Spa ( it's a bit expensive) but a lovely experience.

Amazing atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. Great pools, beaches, rooms and drinks. Definitely going back again!

We were so impressed with how friendly the staff was. My husband and I stayed for a week and we genuinely will miss the people the we met!

Visited in April with a group of 20 friends to celebrate 40th birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Overall the property location, groundskeeping, property size and amenities were what you expect of Secrets brand. Food was excellent and the entertainment was great. The stand out restaurants were Jamaican, French, Oceanside, and the main buffet was usually very good. Consistent experience across all members of our group was that the service from staff was hit and miss. There were some really exceptional staff members (Deneca and Alan stand out in particular, and a few others I forget the names of), but there were also some very rude, unfriendly, slow and uninterested employees who really brought down the overall experience at the resort. We stayed at St James and had a main level room near the pool/ocean. This was a great location and convenient as we could enter from the sliding door instead of walking into the building. The wild orchid is closer to the restaurants and club/entertainment, but honestly the property isn’t huge enough where the proximity was an issue. Great property. Service experience was disappointing.

Didn’t know what to expect but enjoyed myself. Wished there were more entertainment, food choices and more Jamaican/Caribbean music being played. Some areas / elevators had a musty smell. Water sport cost was way too expensive! Overall, would recommend hotel. The staff were pleasant, friendly and seemed to enjoy what they do and made the effort to know and call you by name.
