Although location is not as convenient as other downtown hotels, it is just 10 mins walk to Pacific Centre. More importantly, the service from the staff makes this place an excellent choice. From check-in, to concierge, to housekeeping, to executive lounge and more impressively the online chat staff are very patient, professional and effective in making sure you are well taken care of. The rooms are of decent size with comfortable bed and clean bathrooms. Oh, there is a Starbucks on location.

Stayed for 4 nights in Vancouver and found the hotel very clean, spacious and the staff really helpful and friendly. The location is great with a heap of restaurants and shops nearby and only a 10min walk to either the harbourside/waterfront or bay opposite Granville island. Highly recommend!

Good for a short stay in Vancouver

Hotel is fine, especially if you have arrived after a long flight. Make sure you go to the south tower, even if you are in the north, as all the baggage help is in the south. It is only a short walk outside across to the other tower (or a longer walk if you go inside) We were dropped off by taxi at the north back entrance and you have to drag your cases to the lift, go up a level to the reception. Although the receptionist offered us a king or 2 queens, after ringing the south tower, he then withdrew the 2 queens and said it would have to be a king. Not great when sharing with your sister! Be aware, in the bedrooms the windows go from floor to ceiling so a great view but not good if you don’t like heights. I was happy we were only on the 10th floor of 30? The lift made me feel queasy as it travelled so fast. The room was very comfortable and clean. Food in the restaurant was fine but there are lots of other restaurants nearby which offer more choice. We ate here on our first night and had breakfast, lovely pancakes. Overall, the hotel is in a great position for the downtown area and is comfortable but big and impersonal. Not a bad choice for a short stay to recover from your journey. Taxi cost $36 CD from the airport. We left from the south tower to start our journey on the Rocky Mountaineer train. The concierges there were excellent- helping with baggage, reconfirming a trip and giving advice. That’s why I think our experience on our arrival would have been much better if we had arrived at the south tower, the main entrance.

You are staying here for location. There is nothing particularly amazing about this property outside of its proximity to the downtown shopping / museum area. This is a busy / convention style hotel with a never ending line at the lifts. The staff are helpful when asked but don't seem particularly interested in guests beyond the basics of check-in / check-out / basic questions. The room layout is a bit strange with two TVs but no where to really watch the second TV. That said, the bed is comfortable and shower / bathroom are fine. The cardio equipment in the gym is due for an upgrade. The weight room appeared in better condition and the 25m pool has a couple of lanes for the more serious swimmer. We dined in the hotel restaurant one evening, which is a decent option as all other options are ~2-3 blocks walk. The waitress was friendly and the food was above average. The Starbucks is useful for getting going in the morning. There is a city bike share rack across the street, but..... there were no bikes in it on day one. Overall, the property gets the job done, but I would let price be my guide on whether to stay here vs other downtown properties.

Does what it says on the tin; good base for downtown Vancouver. We didn’t use the restaurant or bar ; and the gym was pretty small... but views from higher rooms are good and the staff were all very friendly.
