Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort

Really loved this resort. Beautiful ocean view balcony and then walk out of our building right into the pool area! The food was really good for an all inclusive resort! The people were the highlight of our trip. Here are my favorites: Shera hostess at the Italian restaurant, Miguel the chef at the Italian restaurant, Marcos our pool server was amazing! Aracely and Lupita at the spa were the BEST! Sweet Caroline our golf cart taxi driver was so nice to us. Jonathan at member services was amazing and kind. Eva the nurse at the covid testing site was great!

Girlfriends trip was amazing. Incredible resort and very clean. Staff members were friendly and made us all feel welcome. Fine dining restaurants food was amazing and such a treat for all of us. I’ll be back??

HERE WE GO, AN HONEST REVIEW: I was extremely worried to travel during a pandemic.however after coming across a youtube video by a recent traveler I went for it. I booked through Costco travel and got an awesome deal on a swim out junior suite for a family of four. CHECK IN-As soon as we got to the airport, we easily found our "memory makers" BD experience who were extremely attentive and kind. back to the resort , the minute we pulled up the concierge was waiting fro us to take our luggage to sanitize, we entered a private check in lounge (came with package) and we were checked in by Isaac. then another woman approached us and said she was going to explain the resort and how to get around. we were exhausted from an early flight and starving the "explanation" took longer than it needed, because she then finally said her motive which was "would you like to have breakfast for a vacation club, we said we were here to just relax and enjoy some sun. ROOM- we stayed in room 25008, PERFECT LOCATION, middle of everything and right next to the cafe!our butler, Alma (also came with package) approached with a smile and excitement made us feel welcome! she immediately took us to our room , and asked if we needed anything specific. she made our dinner reservations, picked us up to take us ti the reservations, she was so fun and we were always so excited to see her Throughout the resort! our room was breath taking and extremely clean, our cleaning ladies Sandra and Maria were absolutely amazing and so attentive! I hate that I forgot the guy that refills our fridge everyday he was so nice and on top of his A game! I can to stress enough ow amazing and hard working everyone at this resort is, and with a huge smile! anyone you walk pass immediately raise their right hand to their heart bow their head and with a smile "hola" and it makes us smile every time! POOL- WOWWWWW!! REFRESHING! they had so many options, from quiet pool areas, to upbeat with a cliff to jump into a 12ft "cenote" to a fast fun slide (my kids 18 & 14 loved it)everyone at the pools from serving drinks to activity workers were so kind and fun. the infinity pools were amazing and the adult pools with two jacuzzis were absolutely breath taking. BEACH- absolutely gorgeous, they take very well care of their resort beach, squeaky clean! they offer kayaking and boat rides for free! cafe/restaurants-i cant believe I forgot the baristas name but she was always there with a smile and make an amazing cappuccino and espresso! mi amigo Miguel was so funny and attentive and always remembered my drinks before I even asked for one. most of the workers switched around but wherever they were they remembered us. a special shout out to the chefs at the food court (next to aromas cafe) Felipe and Rubin, they knew we didn't eat pork and they would go above and beyond o clean the grill and make special meals for us and they were amazingly good! even though fries weren't in the menu they would make us some! I have never had such great hospitality and customer service like we did at this resort! a huge shout out to Carlos and Alan our amazing servers at the seafood and at the mexican restaurant, they remembered everything and were extremely attentive! I can not forget, Primas pryscela, isa, Letty...Primos Natalio and Kevin thank you all so much for making this trip by far the best one, we have been to Mexico 6 times and different resorts and this one from start to finish, food, the people everything was by far the BEST!! BOOK THIS RESORT! And please, take singles with you and tip, the people here work so hard and keep this resort extremely clean and they guests extremely happy. please feel free to ask any questions about the resort id be happy tp answer. COVID TEST-offered at the property and you get results same day, super easy to make appt. and the nurse that does it is super sweet. suggestions to the resort: the shows always started at 9:00 pm, but the tv in the rooms says 8pm, could be a glitch but definitely need fixing.

This was just what we needed! Food was wonderful. Staff was amazing as always. We will be back this fall. COVID test was really good easy and everything went smoothly at the airplane. Perfect vacation!!

Beautiful and friendly resort, definitely top notch. All inclusive meals were excellent, great choices. The alcoholic beverages lack the alcohol, guess they figure guests won't notice. Best to bring you own alcohol to spike the drinks.
