Our stay at Secrets Papagayo was absolutely amazing!! We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our first year anniversary. From The beautiful views to the amazing staff we definitely can’t wait to return!

Great if you are looking for a small property but your room can be challenging to get to…room was great, property dated. Entertainment limited , not much talent available.

A very old property and it's age shows. Some natural areas are littered with bottles or cans and remained during out entire stay - granted this resort if very hilly and these natural areas were areas not easily accessible without some trouble. Still - they should be attentive to this. Food was as good as most any all-inclusive, and we enjoyed that. Hilly to walk which we did a lot, but they have shuttles and they are VERY attentive and quick to pick you up when requested - made that part very nice. Lots of activities available by 3rd party vendors right on the beach and through the concierge. Overall service was very good and as expected. Biggest issue was we had red ants visit our room every night and could not tell where they come from. Staff was friendly about it, but just said they come in when it rains out. Offered to fumigate our room, but that would have taken hours - and they were not in the room during the day - so not sure it would have helped. I think the seals around the doors etc did not keep them out. Ant traps would have helped but not offered. Overall it was nice and it was for a complimentary event, but I would not pay to go back. I left "average" for value b/c I don't know what the cost is for this venue.

My best friend and I booked a couples get away to Secrets Papagayo all inclusive resort in Costa Roca, our time at the resort was so amazing! the exceptional staff treated us like royalty and the resort was so beautiful and the food was absolutely the best.

My wife and I were here in late April. It was wonderful and fully exceeded our expectations! We were in room 128, an Oceanview King Bungalow, and it was spacious and great. The view was spectacular. The food everywhere was delicious. Special shout out to the burgers at the grill, but did not have a meal that wasn't great. Large variety of food to choose from, and there is some kind of streak at every restaurant. The staff was very attentive and always looking for was to please and go the extra mile. Jetskiing was great! The music at the pool could get a little loud, but the staff was willing to adjust.
