10 minute walk to Universal over the bridge. Clean and quiet. If you are looking for somewhere to eat nearby, go over to Universal City Walk. You don’t have ti have a ticket to get into the section with all the resteraunts.

Went to Orlando for our honeymoon trip and had an amazing time! This hotel went above and beyond with their customer service several times. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there unfortunately but Kylee was very nice, gave us drink vouchers, and some cookies. We also met a very nice guy Daniel while at the bar who told us he’d be at the breakfast buffet if we wanted to go. When we got to our room it had a great view of everything around but I hadn’t thought to ask for a room that faces Universal. After a quick trip to the front desk and speaking with Kylee she kindly swapped our room and gave us extra cookies. On our last day we decided to get some breakfast before leaving. Daniel was there and recognized us instantly! He asked us all about our trip and wanted to make sure it was everything we were hoping for. He genuinely cared about what we had to say and was very accommodating. Daniel is an extremely hard working, team driven, and charismatic man. On top of keeping a full conversation with us he was taking care of the things he needed to do, was filling our drinks, and getting us things we didn’t know we needed yet. He even rushed over to grab a banana for me after hearing me mention it so I didn’t have to get up. Daniel is a really great guy and this Double Tree is extremely lucky to have him on their team. I hope he gets some sort of recognition for everything he does. He does the work of three and always has a smile on his face. If there was an opening for higher management I’d say he’d fit right in without problem. Thank you so much for making the amazing stay even better Daniel!!

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel due to ongoing disturbances. Throughout my stay, there were people screaming, running around, and knocking on doors in the evening. Despite addressing this with the hotel, they were uninterested in resolving the issue. This disrupted my peace and comfort during my stay, and I recommend the management take proactive measures to ensure a more peaceful environment for all guests.

Great hotel! Very clean, modern, nice environment, location. Nice people on the front desk. Easy to park or valet. Nice lobby w restaurants and more Good hotel for family as well for business. Highly recommended. Will not disappoint anyone.

Great value for the location to universal studios. Appreciated the free shuttle to the park, but was a convenient walk to the front gate. Customer service at the hotel was very good, folks were friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size for a family of 4, especially with the short time we were in the room. Only critique was the cleanliness of the bathroom, unfortunately the tub and shower curtain were noticeably moldy. Otherwise a great stay!
