hotel was nice and clean, Corona measures were good. in overall it was an okay experience. as of the pandemic there was no coffee machine in the room and unfortunately there was no coffee available in the hotel during the day so we had to walk to Starbucks, which was bothering. staff was friendly, check-in easy and fast. dinner prices in the restaurant was exorbitant (sorry for that) so we ordered food from outside.

I went to the doubletree by hilton with my kids and well i have to admit the location is great since it is really close to the universal parks and shopping malls, but the rooms were so so, very modest, no coffee machine, no complimentary water or even sold water, i think that weekend i went i ended up so dehydrated. The worst was that i came back from parks so so tired to come to a room un made :(. I literally had to come back to clean my room and my kids rooms because the cleaning staff were already gone home, then i had to go myself and get fresh towels because they didnt even want to change my towels. I paid extra to have breakfast buffett (something less to worry about) but when i went to the restaurant at the hotel they told us there was no breakfast included (even though i paid extra for that) and well i ended up paying to have breakfast, ehich was ñuteraññy disgusting and the staff very very slow and rude, they literally would just come to your table and throw the stuff on the table, the forks and knives flying across the table (literally). Another thing is that they charge you 25 dollars a day for parking, is it jusy me or shouldnt that be included lol. Anyways the only thing good i could say in the end about hotel is location but the rest awful.

Dirty rooms, smoking weed, paid parking, 20 min walking from park entrance

On the second floor of the stairs, some man pissed the wall and fell asleep there.... In the lobby was smell of weed, when I asked management about that, they told me that they don't care and this is out of their control. The management is unfriendly and does not help at all. Asked for a teapot for taking my medicine - was asked to pay for a hot water in the restaurant. And this hotel is not the entrance, you will walk 20 minutes before the actual entrance.

I understand that this current climate makes things a bit different but I am a bit disappointed in my stay this weekend... we are diamond member and last time we came a couple years ago the breakfast for us included the buffet. Understandably there is no buffet but when we got to the restaurant we could only get the continental breakfast of crossoint, muffin, yogurt and fruit.. due to dietary restrictions all I could have was fruit so they gave us half off on an omelet... so for 2 small breakfasts of omelet, fruit and coffee I paid like $24... save your money and go to BK or waffle house... the next day I wanted coffee.. there was one of those lobby coffee carafes behind the desk so I asked the gentleman behind the desk if that was the lobby coffee and he responded yes, we charge $2 for it... uhm, no thanks I will spend a few more and get good coffee from starbucks.. no coffee in the room right now.. clerk said it is an Orange County ordinance but I also stayed at hard rock this trip and they had a Kurig in the room... there is also a man in the lobby pushing timeshares which I feel is annoying... the rooms are nice and location is great and staff is friendly... just be prepared to go get your own coffee and be prepared to go off property for breakfast unless you like wasting money.
